This is one of the nicer places for ambience in Athens, with good food with an emphasis on Middle Eastern. Food is enjoyable and is consistent, with friendly service. Very nice salads....

We've eaten here for dinner many times and it has always been a very good meal and a good experience. The wait staff are attentive. The menu is varied (it's tough to choose). The food is well-prepared and very tasty.
Came here for dinner in November with one friend. Food was OK but nothing special - it could have had a lot more depth of flavour and interest to it. Chain lebanese restaurants in the UK such as Comptoir absolutely beat this place hands down....More
I would give this place a 3½ if I could. I went for dinner and sampled a few things. House-made bread was served, and there was olive oil on the table for dipping. The hummus was tasty and served with plenty of good pita. I...More
I just loved this place! The food is Lebanese but uses lots of local ingredients. The interior is splendidly decorated with Persian carpets on the floor. I had a kebab which was excellent. Good wine selection too. Definitely recommended.

Great atmosphere and authentic cuisine. We enjoyed an appetizer of pappadum . It was fresh crisp and had a great spicy dip. The salads were very authentic and satisfying. The entrees were nice from lamb to chicken. The baklava was great and our wine and...More
Salaam is a wonderful, primarily Mid-Eastern restaurant in a relaxed setting with professional yet friendly staff. Many ingredients are locally sourced and everything tastes freshly prepared. We have yet to order something we did not enjoy. And, they cater.
I was very tired after driving 8.5 hours, and stopped for take-out dinner. It was half an hour before closing and there were only two occupied tables. The staff could not have been nicer. Very helpful in choosing a take-out dinner, and willing to talk...More
