Thoroughly enjoyed Amos Mosquito's on a recent trip. Casual, great grub, great service. Both the wife and I thought it was very, very good.

A neighbor suggested we try the Bang Bang shrimp. We did and it is SO good. Served as an appertiser but enough to two. We ordered with two salads and it was dinner for both of us.

There is a reason why people line up everyday to enjoy dinner at Amos Mosquito. This please never disappoints. The dinner is worth the wait! Great service as well.

We happen to hit on locals night when the entrees are half price. The food was delicious! We had oysters and shrimp and both were cooked to perfection. The fries and slaw were also both very good. You need to get here early to avoid...More

The food here was really good and worth the wait. It was pretty crowded even at 8:30 on a week night. It was also pretty pricey. Wednesday is locals night with a big discount in the off season, and you don't have to be a...More

We went early in the evening, were greeted nicely and seated quickly in the simply decorated dining room. Waitress was simple, but friendly. Bread bucket is a bit silly and sparse. The spiced crackers and cornbread were tasty, baguette much less so. Fried dill pickles...More

Service is great, so this is the place for you if you value service over food & don't care about price. Quality is good too. But man alive, $17 for MEATLOAF & $29 for an overcooked steak???? There's a Publix in Emerald Isle that offers...More

We headed to Amos Mosquitos with friends and family on a busy Wednesday night in October. The parking lot was full so we parked across the street. We had drinks outside overlooking the sound while we waited and the wait time was less than we...More

We had a unique, outdoorsy decor theme. We had a good start on a tasty menu. And, we had a long list of really bad names for a restaurant. During a brainstorming session someone suggested “Skeeter’s”. We all liked it... More

That is correct. On Wednesday nights in the fall and winter all of our entrees are discounted about 40% from their regular prices. We would love to see you on a Wednesday night.

Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.
