Had lunch here for two weekends while I was attending a workshop nearby, tried out the Kebab rice meals with matching bottomless ice tea. It was a filling meal for Php 109.00. If you want to be more comfortable select the tables in the air conditioned area, you just need to add Php 8.00.

My husband and I went there, ordered our meals, and waited a while. The waiting was expected. But when my husband's food and our additional orders came without my order, we asked how long it will take. We followed up my order with 4 different people, who all said it was already being prepared. My husband was already done eating,... More

I ordered their shawarma rice for only 109php. Nothing spectacular but I think that for the price it was more than the usual volume of food with bottomless iced tea. Other persian restos in Maginhawa could easily double the price on what I ordered. Their branch in Xavierville is quite large and with many tables.

Persian cuisine the way we enjoy it. Ababu could not have re-opened at a better time. You have to go there to experience it. Bring an empty stomach, and an excuse not to return to school or office after your meal.

Ababu offers cheap meals that are filling and tasty. I specially like the Keema Rice Meal and Shawarma Rice Meal. The Quezon City branch is a casual, hole-in-the-wall place. But it's very relaxing. The Taft and Cagayan de Oro branches are air-conditioned and very clean, though.

This is the last time I am eating here. Last week, my friend and I dropped by at the Katipunan place and ordered a kebab meal for a late supper. The kebab was ok. It was grilled to order. But the rice came in clumps, and it was dead cold. The chili sauce was watery and tasteless. And, the corn... More

Let us not talk about the ambience, but more of the food. I haard that they know have a branch at Boracay.. anyway.. Food is cheap and you will never feel shortchanged with the meal that you are getting. I am always overwhelmed at the rice serving ! The rice which is fried in margarine, along with a hefty servng... It will always be the best cheap-a*s shawarma for me! Everything is cheap and great! This is a popular dinner to post hangover neighborhood watering hole, but service is fast. This is a very casual, no frills restaurant. You can go here in your pajamas and no one will care. It could be cramped and hot, but it's all part... More

I have eaten both at the location in Quezon City and Boracay several times throughout late 2010. This places is great! The food is very good, and the prices are hard to beat. They have several different meals for around 100 pesos with bottomless iced tea, all very delicious! I highly recommend the chicken kebab meal! This place is not... More
