It's a pretty safe restaurant to have Japanese food. Nothing too great in terms of taste and presentation but it's okay. Don't love the Gyudon but sushi is not bad. Service is average and quick enough.

Be prepared to double park on the street and wait (even if you arrived by 6:30 pm) because it is worth it. The seafood bento was perfect...all I ever needed. The taste was clean and flavorful...and just right. The Okonomiyaki was loaded with veggies...a meal in itself!
Usually, I'd order ramen (specifically tantanmen) in a Japanese restaurant. But with some coaxing and recommendation from a brother, I ordered dishes a la carte. No complaints really, and probably my favorite was the fried maki, which I cannot remember the name, but I remember re-ordering the same. Probably the good thing was really that my mother, who is not... More
I went there with my colleague last Saturday. It's a good and quiet place, the services are good. We ordered few dishes, it served in small portion, looked nice and tasted good. However, they only give us a little wasabi which only for one people. And also the Edaneme, it didn't have much taste, and it's not a warm Edaneme... More
Tired and hungry after a night out for holy mass and last minute post-Christmas grocery shopping, the kids wanted a Japanese meal. The closest Japanese restaurant to Rustans Supermarket is Omakase which is at the same establishment, Il Terrazzo at Tomas Morato corner Scout Madrinan. The place was full even at 9pm but the service was quick. It was a... More
This is the best Japanese resto I have tried so far here in the Philippines. They serve good quality food consistently. I would highly recommend dynamite roll or actually any of their sushis. They are always fresh and their signature sauce which is not just your ordinary soy sauce definitely ups the game. Others that I have tried and approve... More
BPI card has a 40 off omakase promo till May 15, 2015. We ordered salmon jaw, jurassic maki, dynamite roll, soft shell crab tempura , california maki. Rice used is too mushy. Dishes are generally good. Too bad uni tempura was out of stock. The prices are a bit on the high side, but average compared to other restos. Its... More
I would often say if I was asked what my last meal would be before facing a firing squad (if gluttony was a crime!) unequivocally i would declare- " a meal at omakase!". Oma is decidedly one of the best Japanese restos in Metro Manila. Even during weekdays this Japanese heaven would still have customers lining-up. I'm a paranoid mother... More
