Got curious over the name of the cafe was expecting they got black soup in the menu... unfortunately theres none. Order spicy tinapa pasta, mac and cheese and a bowl of pumpkin soup. The pasta was aldente, a total of 400 pesos bill, not bad for a hot cook meal that serves 2.

I've been to Blacksoup several times for my friend's open mic events and music gigs. It is cozy and intimate but also quite cramped with little room to move around. When I first visited Blacksoup, the walls were covered with vintage and rather quirky posters, giving the cafe color and life. Its mismatched lights and tables with newspaper clippings only... More

We chose Blacksoup for a get together with friends and was not disappointed. Because we were a large group, we decided to make reservations.
