After a busy morning sightseeing this was a relaxing lunch. Nice buffet, comfortable seats, lovely table setting, strolling musicians- we felt pampered and lazy. Don't try to hurry at Barbara's but relax and enjoy the ambiance and the traditional Filipino dishes.

The traditional filipino food tastes great, we opt for dinner & show and it was an enjoyable evening. We get to try the traditional bamboo dance too. It was a fun night for all of us in addition to great food!

This place is the ultimate coffee shop within the walls. Here I always find peace and long conversations with good friends. Prices are not so low neither high, just enough to reason with the quality of the place. It is located in a typical Spanish pueblo, and it is amazing.

This was an enjoyable experience for us. Reminded us of Yabor City in Tampa and the Columbia Restaurant only this predates the Columbia by a few hundred years. A nice Spanish interlude......felt like being in Valencia or Sevile.....music, food, sangria. Nice....we had chicken dishes and they were well prepared.

This place is full of centuries old character and style, an old hacienda with lots of dark wood, great buffet food for lunch and even a Spanish style minstrel band to senerade you as you eat. Such a contrast to modern Manila - you could be in Madrid, or old Cuba!

We decided to go to this restaurant as we were walking around the "intramuros" during the day and the actual building caught our eyes. Right in front of the Augustine convent the house is spectacular! They were inviting people for lunch so we asked if we could take a look at it. We went to the first floor and we... More

Down in the center of Intramuros, charming old buildings , going back in time for 400 years, during the Spanish colonialism. The restaurant reflects this old traditions and way of live. The buffet food is not exceptional but the entertainement and cultural travel compensates. The price is very acceptable. A nice funny familly evening. Next to Rizal Parc and walking... More

You go here for the experience and cultural presentation, not for the food. The food is mediocre (some were bad) but the ambience, decor, shows etc. are worth the visit.

Barbara's is located on the upper floor of that white walled building fronting San Agustin Church. It is an effort to climb those stone steps but when you get inside, its like being transported to a 19th century saloon.. The main offering is the dance presentation which showcase the major cultural dances from the northern to southern parts of the... More
