We went there around 6:30 on a Thursday night and it was surprisingly very quiet. An hour later when we left, the place was empty. I am not sure why. Anyhow, the food is actually very good. We ordered their famous dishes: crispy fried eggs, butter kailan, petai squid and prawn. They are good especially the eggs and kailan We... More

Nyonya food was good but not exquisite as we expect from Nyonya. Atmosphere so so. But really cheap (26 Ringgit each for 10...). Customers were exclusively large malaysian families.

Came to this no-frills restaurant for dinner with the family. Food is good but a little too oily. The place is air-conditioned with nice comfortable atmosphere.

This was my second visit. The restaurant retains its charm as a traditional, open fronted building. the food was good but don't expect a massive choice - it is the traditional dishes and ingredients that feature. Dinner for three with a couple of bottles of beer came to just over MR110.

The restaurant is located on a small street and isn't flashy at all. No air con and no wifi. But the rest is really good. The people are nice. The food is yummy. What do you need more?

We went there due to reviews on TripAdvisor. Very limited options for vegetarians, The veggies also smells like seafood, We had Chembol (dessert) which was not so great, May be as Indians we are not used to the taste of Malaysian cuisine. The quality of food was good. Every thing had a little bit of extra oil.

We eat at Muar at least once every trip to KL, there are so many outstanding choices that it's difficult to know where to begin. For nonya try Muar . Dixe has been at this location for years and in a city where restaurants come and go rather quickly it's a coup to be in the same location for many... More

I stayed in Tengkat Tong Shin during several KL visits. Once I chanced upon Muar Restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of their Nyonya dishes, and the food was quite inexpensive compared to other restaurants in the area.
