Great entertainment and food for the evening. The street is buzzing with loads of atmosphere at night with both sides of the street lined with restaurants from end to end. Lots of choice of food and people from everywhere to watch whilst having a drink after a good meal.

For the largest range of cuisines go to Jalan Alor. Each restaurant has a menu out front so you can flick through and see what takes your fancy. As night emerges the street comes to life with tables and chairs spreading out onto the road. Meals are very reasonably priced. I prefer to eat early before the restaurants become really... More

Haven't been to Jalan Alor for many, many years and decided to try some food there. Had KL Hokkien mee and Cantonese style fried noodles at Dragon View restaurant along Jalan Alor. Ordered 'bee hoon - mee' (rice vermicelli and thick yellow noodles) Hokkien mee and 'yee meen and mai fun meen' (a brown type noodle and rice vermicelli) Cantonese... More

We had dinner here last night - around 8pm. It was a busy night on the street - great for people watching and a musician was a few feet away singing some oldie's but goodies. Pad thai, pineapple rice, sweet and sour chicken and green curry. All delish. We ate every bit. Plus some ice cold Singha - yum. There... More

There are lots of places to eat. Inside of a restaurant, at a table on the street, or just picking up food at one of the stalls. Lots of variety & we found the price pretty good. The whole street has a real buzz to it. Its fun.

Many restaurants in this area. If you visit it during night, it will be easier to know the good restaurants because they are crowded. Nearly the same prices everywhere or with minimal difference. Watch out for what you are asking for because spicy here means extremely hot. In many restaurants you can choose the fish and the crabs yourself. No... More

We arrived early and and there weren't too many people but it gets crowded during the night. Lots of restaurants along the road serving seafood. We settled in one resto and ordered a crab, singapore curry noodles and some drinks. The crab was small (compared to the fresh one shown to us) so maybe when crab is cooked, it shrinks?... More

I was disappointed that there wasn't enough choices for local cuisine. However, at least the food was good and there was pretty much good variety especially for seafood.
