Unfortunatley, we did not enjoy this place. As people mentioned, you have to wait outside in the cold in front of heater. Even though it was space inside where we could wait. Bad customer service and not envierment friendly neither. I would ignore it, if...More

Totally worth the wait.We came here around 12:35/45 and had around 3/4 groups of clients in front of us so we waited around 15 minutes (the machine said 25). We had a pork based ramen and a soy-sea food based one and both were amazing....More

I’m not sure what I expected here - probably something completely different than in Canada but that wasn’t the case. In fact, I’ve had better at home and I think it’s popularity is due to tourist foot traffic from the market as opposed to being...More

Unfortunately this place lost 2 stars immediately due the wait. We got a ticket and it stated a 73 minute wait...doable. This over doubled before we actually got our food. We maybe could have dealt with this, if the restaurant was honest about the wait...More

One of the best ramen I have ever tasted and with a decent price (around 1200 yen). The only thing is that the place is really small and you have to come early to get the ticket. At some point of the night they also...More

I mean taste is very subjective but this is one of the best ramens I've eaten in Japan and Singapore! Rich yet not too surfeiting and light. However, the wait was long about 1h. You'll need to get a queue ticket with an estimated time...More

Shinkyogoku Shopping District
Those who delight in shopping and cuisine will find
themselves at home in Shinkyogoku. Lauded and visited
by locals for its Nishiki Market, where baskets of
fragrant spices, dried fish, and just-fried foods are
piled high along the snaking streets of its enclosed
outdoor shopping spaces, Shinkyogoku is not only a hub
for fresh fare, but also for fast fashion fixes.

They have a veggie version that has some fish stock but they have a vegan option as well. Just let them know - their english is great. Be prepared to wait a long time - its worth it, though!

From the thousand-year history of Kyoto to the thousand winds in the sky, we present an unforgettable taste carefully prepared for each and every one of our customers. In line with our store’s concept of Health-Conscious Ramen, we present quality ingredients and a delicious taste in every bowl. Our ingredients are natural and safe, and our tonkotsu (pork-based) soup comes in four delicious varieties: the slightly salty Shio, the soy sauce-based Shoyu, our Miso flavor-based ramen, and our Spicy Miso-based ramen. Also on offer are ramen dishes such as our seafood-based Sen no Shio; the seafood/soy sauce-based Kii Soba; and our pork-free, delightfully simple Su Ramen. Please feel free to leisurely enjoy the relaxing atmosphere – the owner loves jazz music! – at our shop. We hope you’ll find Ramen Sen no Kaze an easy place to dine, even alone. We do our utmost best to deliver a small bit of happiness in every bowl we serve.
