The food was incredible, we had the chefs recommendation. We arrived very earlier (at opening time) and were offered a table, a few minutes later the small restaurant was full. It was 50% locals, 50% fellow trip advisor tourists. Many people were in line waiting...More

Beautifully handcrafted and cooked to perfection. Comes out on a sizzling iron plate so you know they are fresh and hot. A must try. Average spend per person is ¥1900

A tiny place hidden away upstairs, but definitely worth finding. The set menu is a great range of dumplings and good value

Anzukko is a tiny little bar on the second floor hidden down an alley in downtown Kyoto. Small and cosy, the perfect place to kick back. We opted for the smaller Chef's recommendation menu and it was outstanding. There were at least 7 different Gyoza...More
