Would much prefer to try the local hamburger fast food chain instead of the American conglomerate. Average burger and fries, tasty enough, nothing special, and much smaller than others. Glad I tried here at least once during my visit to Japan.

There are plenty of branches around town. If you see one, go for it. Ask for the English menu. Besides the usual hamburgers, try the rice burgers. Rice patties in place of the wheat bun. The one with beef is very tasty. In our opinion, better than the hamburgers. We felt there was nothing special about the fries and onion... More

The burgers are on the small side, but they make up for it with they fluffy bread and gooey Japanese melting cheese. We just tried the cheeseburgers, but everything else looks good too! Small but mighty!

Tasted much better than a Big Mac or a Quarter Pounder, I just wish I had tried a Shrimp burger instead of what I had...still not sure because it was all in Japanese but was still delicious regardless! Loved the bathroom where the toilet seat lifts up automatically, a cool feature!

Hot fries, crispy crusted shrimp burger. Can it get better? Beef for the more traditional eaters, too. Fast, table-delivery and the most pristine bathroom in a fast food eatery ever!

Heard about this burger franchise that was started by a Japanese man years ago. Wandered into the Kyoto branch that is across the street from a university. Lots of students eating and studying. Burgers are smaller than American ones, but in my opinion, just the right size. I had a cheeseburger that had an interesting sauce on it. My husband... More

This is their version of McDonald's. This has a Japanese flavor on it that's pretty tasty. We had a bit of time trying to look for this place near the Kyoto Station. There is one right outside the Toji Station. This is a pretty good local fare to try when in Japan. I tried the teriyaki burger and I thought... More

The cheese Mos burger is yummy and so is the shrimp patty burger. Located near the Imperial Palace and a university, the place was busy not crowded. Convenient for us when touring Kyoto.

This is a famous chain in Japan that our local guides swore was home of the best burger. My family was craving Western food so our guide brought us. We tried several burgers including the Teriyaki version, the standard burger, and the one with "higher quality meat." Not really a burger...more like a salisbury steak with a weird aftertaste. The...
