There is a good choice of Indian dishes.Typical for many other restaurants in Japan as well the entire restaurant is managed by just 3 people.

I needed a break from Japanese food and was happy to find this around the corner from my hotel. Lovely meal and realised how little spice the Japanese seem to use and that I had missed it! Friendly staff who spoke perfect english.

Very tasty indian food by a second-generation 'Indian-Japanese'. All the dishes were excellent. Garlic nans were crisp and very flavourful. The gulab-jamun deserts were lovely.

We love sampling Indian food from different cities as we travel. Found this restaurant on a previous trip to Kyoto and we keep coming back. Though there are several good spots for Indian food in town, Kerala is our family's favorite. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Royal Hotel. Inside, it's a little cramped but cozy and tastefully decorated.... More

We needed guaranteed vegetarian food in Kyoto. The food was delicious rich and authentic. We shared a Dosa as a starter. Then paneer and dhal, with naan and raita. Followed by coconut ice cream and masala tea. The service was excellent and the proprietor was very helpful in menu choices.

Heard of this place on a blog for eating GF in Japan, so we gave it shot. The man who served us was so nice, the menu was in English and he was able to confidently tell us what was GF and what wasn't. We eat a lot of curry at home in Aus and genuinely found it to be... More

We went here on a rainy day craving for Indian food. Don't confuse yourself with Kerala(a place in South India), the cuisine here is mostly North Indian. This place has good ambience and the food is fantastic. Not that tough on h wallet either. Recommended if you want a slice of India in Kyoto.

The owner was rude to us and said that we cant order only certain things and need to order a minimum of some amount. This was extremely disappointing and we felt bad. Rest assure we are never going there again.
