We last visited the Maharajah ten years ago on honeymoon, and it's still there, better than ever. Service is polite and quick, and the food was superb both times we are there. Warmly recommended.
Popped here after fancying something that wasn't Japanese off the back of a strong trip advisor score and reviews. Did exactly what it says in others reviews- naan bread were excellent. I went for the mutton curry and my wife had a vegetable curry. Both were very tasty and I would say would hold there own to London standards! Service... More
After eating Japanese food for 10 days straight, we decided to take a break and went to this Indian restaurant. The food was in general quite mediocore. The service was a bit too fast, we were served the main course even before we were half way drinking our soups. Part of the dish was not cooked (paneer was almost frozen... More
This restaurant is located in the Gion area frequented by every tourist to Kyoto and iy has set menu which is quite reasonably priced specially when at central location . We tried Dal and Butter Chicken dishes both of which were cooked up quite well . The guests can also order la-carte should they wish . It seemed quite busy... More
Walking down a street full of Japanese food and having had our fair share of udon and sushi it was a great surprise to find this place by chance. We were slightly wary about Indian in Japan but quickly discovered a wonderful restaurant with some of the best Indian we have had anywhere. Slightly more expensive than some of the... More
We were struggling to find a nice place to eat wandering around the streets and stumbled upon this restaurant. The dinner sets were great value and some of the best Indian we've had. Would highly tecomned!
Discounted lunch menu for about 1000 yen which is a great value. Food was good. Wish there was my meat in my curry but the huge naan made up for that. It was a great lunch overall.
Hit this place up for dinner 4 nights it was that good. Best naan, best dudes, best curries. Cant beat this place, awesome service. They do takeaway too if you want to go back to your abode after a long day of sight seeing. Going to miss you lads.
