This is an old-fashioned Indian restaurant with an extensive menu to choose from. We have eaten here twice over the years, once for lunch when it was crowded at midday and recently in the evening when there were few other customers. There are several vegetarian entrees on the menu. The staff are very attentive. The restaurant is upstairs, at the... More

4 of us walked in and were the ONLY ones there. We were drawn to it for their Halal option. Needless to say the meat was old had had been reheated as they probably do not get much requests for Halal meat. The non-meat dishes were good and tasty. The server was good but the cook did not look too... More

Been there with a group of 60+ South Indians. Restaurant served dishes more palatable for South folks, apart from North Indian specialities. Good buffet and in a pleasing ambience. Staff were quick and courteous

Really good Indian food in heart of Kyoto. We went for a late dinner at 9pm (restaurant was closing at 930pm) but they still welcomed us. We ordered the Aloo Gobi and Dhal with roti and rice. Was amazing! Only thing to note is that if you want Basmati Rice (as opposed to sticky rice) the price is quite expensive... More

We are vegetarians and from India. We had kids traveling with us and this place was ideal for Indian Veg food. We went in for dinner and we really enjoyed the food. The people were very friendly and they were accommodating. But the food is very pricey, which is same almost in all the places in Japan.

This was a buffet lunch which was a complete let down ....... the food was not hot, the range of dishes was very basic and the tandoori was tasteless ..... no spice at all. I know this is Japan but I expected more. Try and fine somewhere else.

The food was below average for a place charging above average prices. The popadoms we received had a hair on and the tandoori mixed grill was very poor. I was looking forward to a Indian and I have tried them in many different country's The place was dirty especially where the tandoori oven is located. I expected a lot better... More

Being from India and being vegitarian it is very difficult abroad but I found the preparation & service very good. The variety of food was quite elaborate and particularly good was mango lassi.
