Exquisite!! Fantastic experience!! The food was great, the service was impeccable, and the views were remarkable. I sat outside in order to enjoy the beautiful weather as well as the gorgeous skyline and surroundings. The entire staff was beyond attentive. My server, Leonard, was superb!!...Very friendly, service oriented, and genuine. The other staff, all of them, were just as attentive and eager to serve. They make you feel like you are a special guest at their home. I cannot express how great of an experience this was.More

The food is top, the service impeccable. All with a friendly atmosphere. Pasta as it should be, starters fresh and sooo good. The terrace on the pavement is lively and good for people watching, just like in Italy. Great!

Had a really lovely meal but got completely conned by paying for bottle of water. 450 rubles - they were having a laugh! Lost a tip and a second night’s business. How stupid! Won’t be back.

Excellent dinner in an Italian restaurant a little bit out of the centre but well worth the detour! Romeo is very witty, knows his chef and cuisine well, and takes an effort to make you feel at home. While staying in beautiful St Petersburg we stumbled upon Romeo’s fabulous Italian restaurant for lunch, which was so delicious that we had to return for dinner the same evening. Great ambience, exceptional service and superb cuisine, highly recommended!
The food was very good and a lot to choose from. The wines where also very nice. You should keep some space for dessert as well. We had a three course meal. And everything was delicious and the price was very nice.
We stumbled into this place before heading to the ballet at the Mariinsky II. We were short on time which the staff was extremely helpful with. They recommended what dishes were quickest to make. We ended up with some of the best pasta I’ve ever...had. The wine list was also extensive and reasonably priced. This place is AMAZING! Definitely eat here.More
I’m someone who likes to try as many restaurants as I can when I travel. So it was to my surprise that I found myself returning to Romeo’s three nights in a row once I found it. Let’s leave the food to one side for...the moment. It was something about the familial atmosphere that just kept me coming back. Very few restaurants can capture that kind of convivial spirit. Over my three nights I saw big family birthdays, old Italian reunions and travellers journeying across St. Petersburg to eat here again years later. Now, the food. Everything I tried tasted like the owners nonna cooked it. Carbonara with no cream. Pizza just like in Napoli (on Mondays only for some reason). And a deliciously simple melanzane parmigiana. Everyone I heard around me loudly enjoyed their dishes. To tell you the truth, I didn’t expect to find Italian food this good in St. Petersburg. Make sure you go.More
After a long day in the city centre we wanted somewhere nearer to our hotel..and this was 50m !! Friendly greeting from front of house staff and a nice seating area in the basement restaurant. I had veal liver with mashed potato and spinach which...was superb. OH had chicken Kiev, but asked for it to be made a little more spicy, so had a bowl of chopped garlic and chilli in olive oil to add to the Kiev..perfect solution!.I finished with the creme brulee, which was deconstructed wih a basil ice cream...absolutely superb food. Had a lovely chat with the restaurant manager Cristian about St Petersburg and travelling in general..will happily recommend and return to eat here. The chef and owners are Italian so the food is very authentic.More

First day in St Petersburg and we discovered this beautiful place. The food was excellent and staff so friendly and kind to us. (we had Andrei, a very polite and funny guy). We will come back for sure.

Lovely atmosphere and amazing food! The staff was super polite and the service was fast. The owner spoke english very well and was very welcoming. A definite recommend. If you come with a large group, you pay extra 10% service

Great Italian restaurant with sprinkles of Russian ingredients and flavours. The service is great and very well priced. We did takeaway from there many times and everything we tried was delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is also very cosy and nice, so great to...eat in as well. Good selection of wines and varied menu! To be tried at least once.More
