In our surprising first visit to Saint Petersburg, beautiful and attractive Russian city that we named as "the latin Russia" we inquired about different gastronomic places and, among them, our hotel concierge recommended us to go to a Georgian restaurant facing the river Moyka and...about 10 minutes by taxi from our hotel.
We like it so that, in our seven day stay, we went twice to taste the delicacies from the Republic of Georgia as the spinach "Pkhali", sort of balls seasoned with spices from Georgia, tongue and two shashlik, one veal, the other lamb along with what they call bread but is similar to a pizza stuffed and covered with crispy "Suluguni" cheese. Four days later, we repeated this outstanding dinner, both times accompanied by, another big surprise, a Georgian superb wine called Chateau Mukhrani. The service is as excellent as friendly.
In a relax ambiance, with good space between tables, the site is like a cozy wooden rustic cottage where we enjoyed two excellent dinners that will be remembered for a long time.More
