Was a pleasant surprise to find this modest cafe which served vegetarian Indian fusion, we loved the ambiance. Must try the Nan platter!!!

This was the first Indian restaurant we ate in after our arrival in Russia. The food was good but, as in other restaurants we ate in later, the spicing was even milder than mild. Being used to Indian restaurants elsewhere we expected a little heat,...but this was missing.More

I visited Kashmir with my family on 8th May. We ordered a punjabi thali and a Sita and Gita thali. The drinks are complimentary with the order. I haven’t had a better dinner in Russia than this one. Extremely happy with the prompt service

First piece of advice - don't go to this restaurant if you are not interested in vegetarian food. If, however, you are interested in trying something different this place may be the right place for you, we certainly enjoyed it. The food is not your...typical spicy Indian food, but rather a more gentle variant - if it is truly Indian I don't know, but it was certainly tasty. The vegetable shashlik with a red curry dipping sauce was very nice. The service was poor. The waitress tried her best, but there were just too many customers for one server. Once I heard about Indian restaurant, it becomes to my mind spices and firefull experience. Thus i rush immediately to discover this place and see advantages & disadvantages. First bad shook was the vegetarian menu but on the other side the atmosphere flies you into...Delhi experience, the decoration is authentic, similar to what you could see in India. Politely, waiters are waiting for your order just by ringing bell that located on the tables, but before visiting this restaurant I recommend you to bear extra money due to intolerant over prices. Since we've entered the place we understood that it's not usual place. How ppl can eat in a smoky place, where are 5 tables and u can't feel free cos all the ppl are back to back? I don't see myself in this smock ,...all the food is "village special" , no even simple chicken curry . Place isn't for us.More

This Indian food gem place is located in a pretty central area of the city. Quite a small place and very cozy. The staff is polite and know what they serve. Fantastic food! Hookahs are available :)

A great find. Went here with my mother who is a vegetarian and we were surprised to find this great place. Absolutely fantastic food and amazing tea and drinks. I am not a vegetarian but would thoroughly recommend it - very tasty. Had a 'festival'...mixture of dishes great food! Very good value compared to London - about £10-15 per head.More

I am still not able to decide if Kashmir was good or not! We were walking by on New Year's eve & hit this place by surprise. As the name/ the ambience of the place goes, it is definitely not authentic Indian/ Kashmiri food. Kashmir...is a really tiny space & the tables are placed very close to each other. They serve Sheesha here & it can get on to you if you are not okay with smoking. We walked in & were seated in a table which was on the pathway & was really cramped. We did not know they had reservations for the New Year party & they were actually rushing us with the food as they had guests arriving. They were too busy in getting the place ready & it was not easy to enjoy the food with so much happening around. If you are in the mood to try out some fusion food & don't mind the smoky environment, you could try this place once.More

I can't even comment on the food because we didn't stay. I'd called to make a reservation at 13:30 for 3 people for 18:15, and wound up leaving a message on the restaurant's voice mail. We went to an afternoon concert, so I didn't have...a chance to call again until 17:30. In the mean time, no one had tried to return my call, so I wasn't completely surprised that they were already fully booked. I explained about the message I'd left and was told that a table should free up at 18:30. Now, this restaurant is packed into one tiny room. As you walk inside, to your immediate left is a curtain that separates the dining area from the front door. At the end of this mini-corridor is the cash register / coat closet / entrance to the kitchen. Between this multi-function kiosk and the front door is a small table with three chairs. This, we were told, was our table. Partially walled off from the rest of the dining room and right in the spot where people congregate in order to give or retrieve a coat, wait to be seated, ask questions, etc. When I explained this to the hostess, she tried every argument possible to convince me I was wrong: "closer to the music," "in full view of the dining room,". Basically, as happens when a place has bad customer service, telling me that this was not her fault and that we would have a perfectly lovely dinner, sitting wedged between the front door and the cash register. I'm sorry, I can't help but give a couple of suggestions: 1. Check you answering machine and return customer calls. 2. Get rid of the table in the corridor and put in a bench. That is not a place to enjoy a meal (especially at your prices!). It is a waiting area.More

A very amazing place. The name is Indian but there are not many Indian dished. The chef though was very helpful and made hot tasty aaloo paranthas with curds for us. It is also a hooka place. Just one person who serves and also manages...the restaurant.More
