Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s excellent self-service restaurant. In this restaurant, you can order different kind of food. If you want to try dishes of national Russian cuisine, shi, okroshka, or pelmeni, go there. If you like Japanese food you can buy sushi. Group tourists can order complex lunches...and dinners.More

We so enjoyed the many options here, dining mostly with locals. You can see what you want, share different dishes, etc. Everything we tried was very tasty. For a non-threatening introduction to Russian “home-cooking,” it was ideal. Very simple, not for a fancy night out,...but for what it IS - we’d definitely go again. Plus, the women who served on the line — all in costume — will remind you of your grade school teacher. No nonsense, but very helpful.More

Just a worth to try and you will like it...besides the other dishes, from chicken, fish, beef and more...More

I have tried to eat here many times. I would say the following things about this place: 1. Cheap 2. Crowded 3. Average quality when it comes about taste. Try to pick some simple dishes: potatoes, rice, burgers, chicken, borscht, salads with no mayonnaise, typical...Russian beverages. Do not try mushrooms and juices.More

Ate breakfast & occasional dinner here several days. Very inexpensive. Food was ok. Lots of choices. Some English spoken by employees. Not fancy but basic cafeteria self serve. Perfect for what we wanted.

The food is great with many locations around Moscow. NOTE: Different locations operate at different times. It is a self-serve cafe, in a very pure Russian style!

I find Russian restaurants pretty baffling at the best of times. Self-service makes it twice as challenging, and I end up with a pretty random selection of dishes. But no matter, because my Russian friends do too so perhaps it's normal. An enjoyable evening.

I can unfortunately not recommend this place at all. It's a mass production of food, the tables are dirty and the food cold once you made it till the checking count.!

Would not have chosen to eat here but as part of a tour group, this was chosen by our guide Queuing for food as in a school canteen is NOT my idea if going out to dinner! My Greek salad contained mozzarella not feta, borsht...was lukewarm, chicken kebab tasted strange and after one bite I didn't finish it. The 'Russian speciality' potatoes and mushrooms with onions, we're greasy and stale. Overall most of the meal was below par, lukewarm or cold. There MUST be better places to eat in Moscow!More

We tried this place for lunch while we were visiting the old Arbat street. We tried different kinds of salads and they were all good. We chose the shashlik and we liked both the pig and the chicken ones. Prices seemed to us really affordable!

Great place to enjoy Russian "home cooking". Big portions, tasty food and you can choose also several smaller dishes. No fine dining, but very tasty and fast.

We had lunch in the café Mu-Mu in Arbatskaya street in Moscow but didn’t like it. Cleanliness of the cafe was questionable and the food did not suit me. Perhaps this was because no one spoke any language except Russian which we do not understand,...so I just chose the dishes, not knowing at all what's what. In the end I chose something that was not delicious. Only a beer was good. The prices were not much lower than in a proper restaurant although this is actually a Russian food chain similar to the McDonaldsMore
