Situated in the hystorical (and a bit spiritual for a local beer geek/addict) place - previously there was a legendary Soviet Union watering hole over here: the four-ale bar "Ladja" ("Rowing boat"), better known as "The Pit" nickname, given to it by locals (the first...ever beer vending machines in SU were installed here, it was a place of shooting location of the film, which now is the classic part of Mosfilm Golden Era, etc). The T&P, being the successor of the quarters was the first big one in nowadays pub big chain "Pub Life Group". The inner interior was kept as the brickly furnished cellar as a relation to traditional drinking places of the Russian medieval ages, but with a bit renovation with globally acknowledged traditional signs of an irish bar - newly wood bar counter & furniture, cash register/service points islands, barrel-crafted wall decorations, Tiffany-style fuzed lights, stained glass artworks, brewery branded bar mirrors ans so. All performed in right propotions for getting a fall between two stools: be attractive for an old social drinkers by a feeling of the similar "wild but nifty" atmosphere which has been prevailed in it's predecessor, and be comfy & familiant for newcomers (whatever from part of the world), conversant with the conception of "home away from home, but with no drinking control". The choice of alcohol and snacks are usial for that chain - well-recognized, simple and substantial, guarantied availability of the several positions both for drinks and for dishes. Good place both for standalone drinking or a meeting with someone/gatherhing of the boozing companions, in either case you don't need to speak/scream loader even on Fridays or any other big populated day.More
