Food was quite good, but what made the visit a great experience was the atmosphere and our server, Zoya, was fantastic. Service makes a great impact to having a pleasant dining experience, and without a doubt, Zoya was superb from excellent recommendations, exceptional attentiveness without being overbearing all the while being lighthearted and very pleasant.

We loved it!!!! The food was very tasty, and beautifully presented!!! As everywhere in Moscow you have to leave your coat at the wardrobe, and the restaurant is at the 1st floor. The staff was very helpful and kind..

It's Ukrainian cuisine, have a small zoo. Food is very good. Borsch is a must, also try pirozhki. Vareniki with cabbage are excellent. Chicken Kiev is also very good.

This restaurant is famous for its small zoo with rabbits, chickens, a goat and a cow. The last two are spending their lives on extremely short leashes, and it's a pain to watch them((( The food was also disappointing: store-bought pelmeni, sprinkled with grated cheese, were presented as some delicacy. The only good thing I can say about this place... More

We couldn't even finish 1/2 our food and we left, even though we paid 18,000 x 5 rubles. Reviews for this restaurant is really good, so I'm wondering if we had a bad meal just because it was a special menu for NYE. Food was way below average, we were quite embarrassed as our guest barely touched her food. Fish... More

We had lunch at Shinok and loved it! The atmosphere is great, food is perfect and service is very friendly. The animals that sit behind glass next to you, make it very relaxing!

My starter came after my main, my steak came without any accompanying vegetables, the wine was corked which required 20min wait for a sommelier to be found to confirm before the wine was changed. the place was pretty empty so wonder what it would be like if service had to cope with more people. Overpriced for the quality.

This restaurant serves Ukrainian cuisine - however, it represents a Russian soul as well. If you'd like to taste traditional dishes with a signature twist, this place is for you. Everything is tasty and filling. I was amazed by pickled watermelon, and Chicken Kiev was better than in Kiev:) Above that, the restaurant has a small zoo with a cow,... More

We had the misfortune of dining here once. Once was enough to guarantee that we would never ever come back. There is a very good reason for this, and there are other reviewers that have mentioned some of the reasons on here too. First of all when you arrive you HAVE to leave your coats at a "reception", then you... More

There are 3 things that make good impression in this place: good food, nice interior design and live animals that mind their own business right next to you during your meal. I was told it's an Ukrainian restaurant, and I liked it a lot. All dishes were tasty, served on pretty plates and I got to know some interesting new... More

Neighbourhood Profile
The neighborhood is divided into two major halves by Krasnaya Presnya street: the southern part highlights Moscow city – businesses contained in skyscrapers along with the White House - where the Russian government works. The north is a bit more relaxed and casual, visitors here will find the Moscow zoo, National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a number of fine restaurants. The beautiful neo-gothic Cathedral of the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is usually packed with the events such as organ music concerts.
