So-so place for some chit-chat. It's quite expensive compared to the cafes of the same caliber that I've been.

Bascon Cafe is a great place to have breakfast - an airconditioned in-door dining area and some tables under a big mango tree outside for those who prefer to dine al-fresco. They serve excellent Filipino breakfast meals like longanisa, tapa and daing which come with fried egg and rice. I particularly liked their rich strong coffee which go well with... More

Wanting to find somewhere to eat that is just slightly different to all the other Negros eateries is a challenge. But it turns out not impossible! From the outside not so impressive. Get inside not so impressive. Simple tables that are almost shabby chic but maybe are just tatty, decoration is somewhat underwhelming and the menus have seenbetter days, in... More

Best lengua estofada(ox tongue), callos, chicken relleno, baba cake, churros. Excellent service and toilets. It's a must to visit and try this institution. I learned that Bascon has been in the food industry in this province since 1956. Also trythe best lasagna. Their cakes are reasonably price, and can out taste those in manila.

Bascon's Cafe has the best sizzling boneless bangus in the area. The fish was really fresh and tasty and it waiting time is short. Their cakes were also delicious and the place (though it is small) is very cozy.

This is a very cozy place with interesting decor. We wanted Negrense food and were not disappointed. Our Negrense friends chose the place. We had callos, seafood platter, fried tilapia and friend fresh lumpia ubod with chicken with coconut soup. Rice servings are unlimited. I loved the malunggay (Moringa oleifera) and pineapple shake, a refreshing and healthy drink. The owner... More

Me and my boyfriend is fond of eating here because of the coziness it brings us. Especially the owner who is very approachable, kind and nice to his customers. Even if he's old you can still see in him that he loves his business. The food is good especially their "tapa ilongga". Price wise is ok. Their food is mostly... More
