Wonderful place for a tired and hungry stomach. Their hototay soup, siopao and krispy pata makes you a happy person. They also sell traditional hopia. The place brings you back to the 80's Chinatown.

Felt like I'm in Chinatown Manila in this place, super good and authentic "lomi" soup and "siopao". Outstanding service and very friendly staff. There are only a few businesses like this that remained open for at least 40 years and serve authentic food so I am very happy that the taste and the ambiance are the same since they first... More

You will not go wrong at this place. The food, the atmosphere and the location is great. We just love to eat here any time day or night. They are open 24/7. The only down side is the poor customer service and wait times.

I was in the Davao Doctors Hospital, at midnight. I forgot to eat my dinner before visiting the patient room. Someone recommended that I should go to Kusina Dabaw, so I did. After ordering their food, I thought that it was a right decision to order there. I love their lumpia shanghai the most ♥

The salted egg siopao(40 pesos) was ok. I didn't try other dishes. If you want siopao in the morning, reserve your order the day before. Otherwise you may have to wait until 11am for a fresh batch to be made.

Kusina Dabaw is along San Pedro St.,near the corner of Anda (Inigo St.) They serve the regular chinese food: pansit, lumpias, lomi, etc., but they are more famous for their SIOPAO! We would buy their siopao to go, keep in the freezer at home and just heat it up anytime. The siopao comes in 3 variations: chicken, pork asado and... More

My wife really likes this place but I'm always left feeling disappointed. It's certainly a locals favourite but for me the only thing it has going for it is that it's open very late after the clubs have closed. What pisses me off with this place is the looks I get as a foreigner like I'm a sex tourist. The... More

My mom and dad actually introduced this place to me. Apparently, they went here most of the time to eat during their last trip to Davao. The place and setting is like an average canteen or something, big and spacious as well, and the staff were also very nice. This place reminds me of "Amis Restaurant" in Quiapo, Manila. The... More

Since 1998 i eat here. I visit this place since 1998. It has changed nothing. There are Philippine & Chinese dishes. 365 days a year 24 hours a day. For breakfast or dinner. Very suitable for families.

The restaurant is just walking distance from our hotel so we tried having dinner on our 1st night in Davao. They're affordable and the servings is just right, reminded of the good old restaurants in Manila. The service is quite slow probably due to lots of people dining in but overall we are satisfied plus they're open 24 hours!
