Food just average. Service very good, menu reads very well but the food was underwhelming. Can recommend the coca sour and a walk around the grounds to see the alpacas and the guinea pig families near the gazebo.

The best place to have a peaceful and tasty lunch with beautiful view of the lake. I'm from Puno and this is THE place to be.

The reputation of supposedly smart food with a together and efficient running of a restaurant and bar fall down when tried out in reality. The chicken soup with various vegetables was as if a few uncooked bits of carrot and broccoli and two large totally bland pieces of chicken had been chucked in a bowl of water, warmed up and... They misunderstood or misanswered and the full menu would have been available. This resulted in our whole tour group getting in cabs and going downtown except one couple. They said dinner was extraordinary and asked why we all left.... More

The Inkafe (at the sonesta posadas del inca hotel) has the most spectacular views across Lake Titicaca. The food is excellent too - with a wide range of Peruvian and non Peruvian options. The portions are massive, and then service attentive.

The food was bland and no where near authentic. All of the vegetables, whether in a soup or as a side, seemed to have come out of a can. Fish was dry and overcooked. Lasagne was nothing more than a cheesy pile of noodles covered with a some other strange cheesy sauce. Yuk. And to make it worse, it was... More
