If you love fresh seafood, this is the place for you! Breakfast is excellent too - with wonderful omelettes, fresh fruit and more.

We stayed at Geralds for 3 nights and ate in the resturant on those nights. The food was lovely especially the goulash, had that twice. Was a bit pricey, however very friendly and a relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend both the resturant and b&b. Good location

Gerald came and picked us up and drove us back to our hotel with no charge. The food was excellent, best schnitzel ever and the service very efficient.

For the past few years my family has taken a trip to Contadora we enjoy the relaexing lifestyle. Every year we have gone to Geralds for a meal or 2. When we arrived this year we looked forward to having a nice dinner. Upon arrival...we were very rudly yelled at because we stopped our golf cart at front of resturant to let my parents off. The lady from a car behind us screamed " you dont park there park at top of hill" which is fine that was plan and i assumed she was another traveler. Entered resturant waitress was extremely rude did not want to take order. We asked if resturant was open YES Por Que? And finally came to take our order (we were the only ones in resturant) food was not great had fish fillets that needed to be cut with a knife so tough and then when we asked for check it was the lady in the car who yelled at us i have never met such an unfriendly person (that was called " jefa" ) turns out she was the boss Overall very disappointing, overpriced, bad experience. Thank you for the previous years but we will not go back SadMore

Gerald himself came out and got my whole family (husband, preschool daughter, and in-laws) from the Hibiscus House to chaffeur us to and from dinner one night while we were on Contadora since we did not have a car. He is a delight and I...thought that was so kind of him to take the time to do that for us. On top of that, the food was wonderful. My daughter really enjoyed their garlic shrimp, and my mother in law is still talking about the seafood soup that she had. I had lovely red snapper and their yuca fries are possibly the best I've ever had. We also saw a VERY cute deer, that apparently Gerald has raised from a baby, just wandering around while we were eating. So dinner AND a show! A wonderful evening overall - highly recommend.More

We met some new friends in our hotel so went for a meal with them. They knew the owner Gerald. We had a lovely evening. The staff were attentive, service good and food tasty. A friendly deer visited us during our meal for food and...allowed us to stroke him. We met Geralds dog which is a huge friendly mastiff and insisted we play coconut throwing with him. A lovely evening with great company and good food. Would recommend.More

The waitress Karen is very rude you are trying to order and she wants to push and hurry while taking orders, she was awful. Owner instead is super nice, but food is expensive and not that good, I was very disappointed. Last time I was...at Gerald's food and service were awesome I try the lobster (2 halves lobsters) and the only side dish was salad without salt, pepper, oil & vinegar Lobster was boil and grill, it was kind of over cooked and without flavor There are better places and more reasonable prices. Nothing special about Gerald'sMore

Is it true? Gerald has taken back his restaurant. Have been going to Gerald's on our annual trip for over 20 years and can't say enough good about it. Clean, great food, cold drinks, great atmosphere. The last 2 times we were on Contadora, it...was being run by another group on the island and it was BAD... dirty, filthy bathrooms, bad food, poor service, absolutely no english spoken and no attempt to understand my lousy spanish, poor hours... just horrible. In fact, we chose not to go to Contadora winter 2018/19 because of the lack of decent restaurants. If Gerald is back..... we will be back!More

Everything was delicious and reasonably priced (considering some of the other establishments’ prices.) The first night, my husband had schnitzel and I had pargo (red snapper). Both had a nice crunchy coating and stayed good and hot. The French fries were the best I’ve had...in Panama! It was so good that we went back on our 2nd night for dinner. The pepperoni pizza was yummy as was the vanilla flan we had for dessert. We both agree that Gerald’s was some of the greatest tasting food we’ve had while on our holiday!More

We had lunch and ordered schnitzels and chicken fillet. Schnitzels were good. Chicken fillet was terrible, it looked flat and dry, and tasted even worse. It was so dry, we barely could cut it with the knife. We left it all on the plate and...let the waitress know it wasn’t good, but we’re charged nevertheless. No one self respected restaurant could let a dish like that leave the kitchen. There are much better restaurants on the island as Casa Tortuga or El Mirador.More
