Nice, clean, casual, dinner. Friendly service and delicious food. Some people ordered menu items and some ordered family style where they brought out plates of food that they came up with. It was all Good!!

Our B&B had menus from most of the restuarants on Isla Contadora for us to peruse while making a decision about where to have dinner. We chose Pimienta y Sal after looking up reviews. When we arrived, there was a HUGE group of people taking...up most of the restaurant. The staff told us they were too full. We were disappointed, but understood. We stood on the stoop looking up where else we might go and a few minutes later, one of the staff came over and said they could fit us in! The staff were working very hard with a full restuarant, but were extremely prompt with taking our order, bringing drinks and even our food. My partner had a seafood platter that he absolutely loved that had lobster, prawns, shrimp and fish. It came very ample sides of roast potatoes, cocount rice and vegies. (and a vat of melted butter for his lobster!) I had a chicken pasta with red sauce that was lovely and light. This restaurant has a varied menu that everyone could find something to like and the staff were wonderful.More

We had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent. We drove ourselves there but there are taxis available to pick up and drop off from your hotel or accommodation

This is really a shady place. Kitchen which is near the bathroom seems rather disgusting. Cheap silverware, limited wine choice. Overcooked all the meats in the mix grill as well as the tiny lobsters. Service was below par even for Panama. Not cheap for what...it is. No view and poorly decorated. Regret going there.More

Went in with low standards considering the lack of restaurants on this island and it turned out worse than I expected. All the meat we ordered (chicken, beef, pork, even shrimp) were super overcooked, we complained to the chef. The fish was great however. The...waitress was nice she offered a bottle of wine and deserts. Overall, not great experience but since there’s barely any where else to go, might as well just go for the fish and a salad.More

We had a nice meal here. Good food at fair price. Good service. They also have wine. The restaurant is in the heart of Contadora "downtown".

We had dinner here. The children ordered hamburgers. The taste was ok, but the meat a bit hard. French fries were great. The lobster and the shrimp ceasars was delicious. The cheesecake was also good.

Ate here with the kiddos. Three of us are vegetarian and opted for pasta dishes. Kiddos ate pasta pomadoro and I ate pasta with veggies. All were decent, nothing special but I understand that our entree was nothing local so it is as to be...expected. Husband had a grilled fish that he enjoyed. Drinks (frozen lemonade for the kids, mojito, and tequilla sour) were great. Yuca fries were a hit. Staff was friendly. Credit cards accepted which was a plus.More

We are here with 6 friends, food was average at best. Staff was cranky, and not helpful. From the 24 wines on the list, there were only 5 available. 1 white to choose from. There where no desserts available, only some ice cream. If this...is the number two on the island, something strange is going on.More
