Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped into this cafe and I had the best cup of coffee ever, delicious avocado toast and incredible service. The family who run the business are so lovely. They take great care in everything they do, from placing a pastry onto a plate to brewing an individual cup of coffee. The gentleman answered my questions patiently, made suggestions and was kind, knowledgable and gracious. I thoroughly enjoyed drinking and eating and chatting there and if I lived there I would be a regular.

After returning from Boquete to our home in upstate New York, and finishing the wonderful coffee I brought back from Buckle Tip Studio , I emailed Arturo inquiring about ordering more coffee from him. We had the most warm, pleasant email exchange and as he promised, my packages of coffee arrived perfectly as I ordered. I plan to share some with my friends. My experience at the cafe/studio was so memorable that when I make the coffee, I remember the delicious food and drink as well as the warm, caring service we experienced there, which makes it taste all the better. Thank you Arturo!

This place is an experience. They don't just serve you a cup of coffee, they explain to you the farm, the fermentation process, the notes you should smell in the beans, the recipes they use to bring out different flavors, etc.
I've been to UNIDO, and I've been to Kotowa, and they are no comparison to the incredibly knowledgable and warm ppl at this coffee shop.

Being in one of the most important (in terms of quality) coffee growing regions in the world, this restaurant takes their coffee seriously. But even if you don't like coffee, you will love their banana bread or sandwich croissants (the two things we tried). The staff is friendly and engaging. If you're in Boquete and you miss this little shop, youve missed something special.

The best cafe experience in Boquete! The guys are super knowledgeable and will talk you through the tasting profile of every coffee they sell in great detail. Prime location on the main square. They have 5 different local Geishas on offer which is particularly special!

Great coffee in a wonderful atmosphere with a helpful, friendly owner, explaining his coffees, teas and pastries as good as the region.
Coffee, tea and the filled crossiants were great - the owners inspirations for daily trips were very helpful. A great start of the day!

We searched a place to drink some really good coffee and found this awesome place.
The guys are very kindly and know a lot about coffee. The ambience of the shop is very cool.
All other coffee plantations didnt offer us a coffee tour but here we got a really nice tour including transport and very good coffee tasting. We bought different types of coffee to have the awesome taste of this coffee in Germany!
You have to try tea of coffee peel.
Definitely place to be in Boquete!!!

We have lived in Boquete for almost 2 years now, love coffee & have been to many places, this is definitely the best!! We go to Buckle Tip usually 2 times a week, the owners & staff are amazing! Everyone is so sweet & so friendly, you feel like you are home. The drink menu is incredible .. coffee anyway you can imagine, also smoothies, tea & yummy cakes, empanadas, avocado toast.. This is a must if you are visiting our beautiful town of Boquete.. You will not be disappointed !!

They are passionate and very knowledgeable about coffee in this shop. We have been several times and no matter who is behind the counter, the coffee is excellent. They feature locally grown coffee and blends. They have banana bread, scones and other things to eat, including some gluten free options which we appreciate. The shop is small, the atmosphere is cozy and hip. If you are tall, you will need to duck, as you step over the threshold, and that is just the beginning of the charm.

It is clear to see why there are so many positive reviews of this shop. The Geisha was delicious and well-prepared, and the service was friendly and informative. Nice location off the small park makes it convenient but still peaceful

If you’re looking for a proper geisha experience and are confused as to which of the many coffee shops/cafes dotted along boquete high street to go to, I believe, this one provides the best experience. For 17$, we tried a genuine geisha experience; learned about the geisha coffee bean, it’s roasting, how to properly filter a coffee, and how to properly try coffee! Wolverine was absolutely brilliant, letting us know all the ins and outs of coffee and geisha coffee. For what we paid it was incredible how much we learned and drank! Thanks guys!

My brother, Brie and I had an awesome experience. Evi, Manuel, and Arturo were terrific baristas and educated us on roasted beans and different varietals. Brie and I are grateful for your time and knowledge. Thank you. 🤙

I can't admit how often I come to this coffee shop for a cappuccino made with Pacamara coffee.. it's the best coffee I've ever had, in a league of its own really. Besides having the best coffee, the atmosphere is pretty great too. I have met so many people there and had many interesting conversations.. I often joke that I thought I was just going out for a cappuccino, but got so much more. A big part of this is the staff too.. they are all very interesting and real people, and take a lot of pride in their work in sharing the best coffee with you.

Coffee from Panama is world renowned because of the country’s rich volcanic soil, mile-high elevation, proximity to the Caribbean Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and three tectonic plates. I only know this because I discovered Buckle Tip Coffee Studio in the heart of downtown Bajo Boquete. While you can’t go wrong with any coffeehouse in Panama, you also can’t do better than Buckle Tip Coffee Studio. The baristas there are not only passionate about the coffee they serve but extremely knowledgeable. They are true coffee sommeliers that enthusiastically explain the back story behind each cup they brew, and how to best enjoy it. If I had to guess why coffee at the Buckle Tip tastes better than any other place in Boquete, it would probably be because of their mix of hospitality and special bend of education.

Manuel y Felix were awesome and gave a great experience, explaining the different coffees and process. You dont just get served a coffee, they give you notes about the grind and smells and then same for the tasting profile while drinking….
Best place in Boquete to get coffee!
