At first we sat inside all by ourselves in a room that lacked atmosphere. We found out that they also had a terrace. It's situated along a busy road, but it's a little bit better than the dining room inside. The food was well seasoned and well prepared. We especially liked the yoghurt salad. Staff is not very friendly or... More

It is hard to find a good restaurant in Nizwa unless you eat at one of the good hotels (e.g. Golden Tulip). The food at Bahjat Al sham wasn't bad but nothing to enjoy. Prices are really cheap (2-3OR per person). The decoration is very very basic.

We had lunch here as it was on the way to Nizwa Suq and Al Hamra, coming from Muscat. Ordered appetizers of vegetable salad, hummus with bread and mains of chicken biryani and mutton wrap. We had 2 fresh juices and a large water. Food came promptly and was delicious. The place was clean, not busy and had attentive waiters.... More

The restuarant is attached to the Diar hotel. Service is good, and the food is quite tasty. I particularly enjoyed the lentil soup and Kofte Halabi. The salads, on the other hand, leave a bit to be desired...

We went there because of the good ratings here, it was just true, very tasty food, friendly people, fresh food. Lots of omani are eating there too as guests from the hotel as well. We did like it a lot.

It was not easy to find the restaurant, Trip Adviser and Google maps have it completely wrong. We had to check with Maps.me, but it was totally worth it. The food is great, and quite cheap. Staff was friendly, so I'd definitely recommend it. Try to attach the maps screenshot, maybe that could make it easier

Not sure what all the fuzz is about. Food decent, but not great. Location not great either. There are better places along the road or in town. Friendly staff, though.

We had dinner here with a family of 6, 4 kids in the range of 11 to 19. Positive the food and friendly staff. Negative the location in TripAdvisor is incorrect the location is on the main road towards Musqat 2-3 km's out of Niswa. The restaurant is not very cosy. As in many restaurants no wine is served.

Every time I visit this place the food has been awesome. Their middle eastern cuisine is just good. Very tasty and wholesome. Freshness is their speciality in their food. Clean and tasty stuff. Good ambience. Loved by our entire family.
