I would recommend going here for coffee and pastries. The service is great. The German history can be seen throughout the menu. Highly recommended.

Very nice selection of German pastries, not much else. All the pastries are good. A chocolate cake is spectacularly good.
Loved the Herren torte! Staff were very helpful and keen to help with more information about the delicious cakes and bakes.

We went to this cafe for breakfast, and were not impressed. Nothing out of the ordinary, and we certainly had better coffee elsewhere in Swakopmund.
Great service, very friendly waiters and always ready to fill your coffee cup. difficult making choices between the selection of cakes and pastries.
We went for breakfast. Our server was ok but the man behind the counter was surprisingly unfriendly when we asked how it worked (we couldn't tell if you self-served or ordered from the table). The food was fine but more expensive than other breakfast places....More
If you want to taste the flavor of German konditorei this is it! Interior transfers one to the European continent and as we were sipping our coffee,German was the language heard all around us. A variety of cakes and other eats cater for every taste.
