Went for breakfast here with friends who came from America, who are originally from Namibia and South Africa. Some had the full breakfast, some only had from the breakfast menu. The food was delicious. As it is in season, it was quite busy, so we waited a bit for our food. Overall, nice place to eat. Definitely recommended.

We enjoyed breakfast here on our final morning. So glad we did. A few steps from where we stayed. Great options in their buffet offering. The fresh bread rolls were delicious. Walking past the establishment we noticed it was constantly busy. A nice place for breakfast. I give this establishment a 3.8 out of 5. We will visit again.

My friend visited Namibia for the first time and I have been preparing her for Cafe Anton, informing her that it is the best cake in town. Unfortunately it was the day before Christmas and Café Anton closed at 12:30. We managed to still order cake and coffee. I found it to be pricy and really not earth moving. The... More

This shop could just as well have been in Germany. It has lots of tasty baked goods on offer and makes it difficult to choose. Although it is looking out on the ocean they do have a wheelchair friendly path as access to the shop. Service was quick but lacked finesse.

Cafe Anton is know for their applestrudel. It is a nice old charm setting on the side of Swakopmund. The cakes are delicious and the coffee is good. To visit gives a traveller a feel of the old time Swakopmund. Locals older people like to visit this wellknow coffee shop. We did not have any other food so cant comment... More

Probably the best Schwarzwälder Kirsch Torte in the Southern Hemisphere. The cake can withstand the competition with the real stuff from the Black Forest in Germany.

Sort of feels like one is in the heartland of Germany...clean, great food, superb cakes and good service. A must to visit even if just for coffee-watch out for the lemon meringue cake, it is evil...biscuit base , perfect inner and a great meringue top

Lots to chose form and delicious! My favourite is the small Äpfeltäschlis ... the Swiss word for the apple fold overs. That together with a coffee or a rooibos tea ... mmm ... my day is made!
