Probably the best Schwarzwälder Kirsch Torte in the Southern Hemisphere. The cake can withstand the competition with the real stuff from the Black Forest in Germany.

Sort of feels like one is in the heartland of Germany...clean, great food, superb cakes and good service. A must to visit even if just for coffee-watch out for the lemon meringue cake, it is evil...biscuit base , perfect inner and a great meringue top

Lots to chose form and delicious! My favourite is the small Äpfeltäschlis ... the Swiss word for the apple fold overs. That together with a coffee or a rooibos tea ... mmm ... my day is made!

Yes, this is a "must see" for all the tourists. Famous for its apple cake (usually recommended with cream, but I prefer with ice cream). Coffee is decent, but I prefer a stronger brew which you will not get here. Many other pastries as well as good food for lunch (I've always enjoyed their chicken schnitzel). Check out the exotic... Small and simple, for breakfast, coffee or lunch this is an easy option. Lots of seating inside and out. Friendly staff, some in training, but always with a smile. Amazing range of fresh cakes and pastries. Just a lovely place for a quick bite! Enjoy

You will find yourself in cake heaven ! When in Swakopmund, this centrally located charming Cafe has to be on your 'to-do' list !It's one of the most famous landmarks in Swakopmund, often buzzing with an array of local and international holiday makers, enjoying the outdoor piazza and views over the historic lighthouse and even the Atlantic Ocean. Don't worry... More

A visit to Swakopmund is not complete without a coffee and pastry at Cafe Anton. We first visited 18 years ago and we so happy to find the standard, atmoshphere and whole vibe still the same. Its lovely to sit under the big palm trees, listen to the birds , write postcards and relax. A must do!!

Fabulous selection of cake & gateaux at this german coffee shop. I overheard another customer saying that he had visited because he had been told they sell the best cake in Western Africa. And true enough it was very good black forest gateaux that we ate. Good coffee too. Very clean, very professional higher end coffee shop

We had fabulous coffee and various pastries at Anton's by the sea. The service was good. The pastries were excellent.
