We found this little restaurant while walking around the medina. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very cozy. The chef was welcoming and spoke French and English. The first time, we had sea bass and St Pierre fish. The dishes were nicely presented and were...delicious. The second time, we had the lobster and prawns. What a treat! The fish and seafood are always fresh. I highly recommend the crab salad as appetizer.More

Even in the times of COVID, with its restrictions and lack of tourism, the friendly owner is keeping the place open, serving- and as far as I could tell, also preparing and cooking- freshly made dishes, mostly seafood. We had two kinds of fish dishes,...both well presented and delicious, and we were offered an equally lovely chocolate dessert to take away when we had to leave after the main course because of the early curfew. Highly recommended!More

Essaouira has not many visitors due to COVID pandemic But despite other restaurants having closed down this restaurant was a pleasant surprise The fish was fresh and delicious and from the port around the corner The fish was prepared with care and attention and tasted...superb John Dory, prawns, calamari, swordfish were tasted and cooked perfectly. And flavour of the fish not hidden Mohammed the owner and chef surpassed our expectations and served us complimentary desert and coffee and was the perfect host With soft Bob Marley playing and tucked away in the medina wall as you enter from the sea front taxi stand head for the medina and it’s on the left just before turning right into first medina street See pics I would highly recommend this place it’s cosy but quiet and worth visiting and trying out if you like fish and want a variety We will return ... Thank you Robin UK 😀😀😀More

Exceptionally great dining in Essaouira. They know how to bring out the best flavours in their dishes. Combined with the tasteful decoration of the restaurant and relaxing music you will have an amazing experience. The staff really puts an effort to everything they do! We...recommend this place for everyone!More

We were the first people in the restaurant. I think they are suffering because there's a lot of construction work on the streets nearby - that's pretty much a constant in Essaouira. Somebody's always digging something up and laying it down again. Each time I've...been there before, something I wanted wasn't available so I was delighted that this time, everything I wanted was OK. We both had fish soup - it's great, traditional deep smokey flavours and with lots of bits of shrimp in the bottom. For main, I had seafood pastilla (something that I always want but very few restaurants offer) and my husband had the chicken pastilla. Both were excellent and VERY filling. It's not the cheapest of restaurants - especially if you go for the fresh fish options - but everything is well cooked and beautifully presented. Only 8 small tables so not one for large groups.More

Stunned by the refinement of the dishes presented. Way above our modest expectations. Great blues music was a treat.

Nicely decorated restaurant - small and welcoming staff. I have special dietary requirements, and they made sure I was still able to enjoy a tasty meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a well-priced meal.

We came at 3pm while all other restaurants in the area were closing but the owner suggested to grill the fish for us so we were really great to find a place for lunch. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the taste of the fish...was great!!!Definitely recommend for everyone.More

Delicious food served in a lovely small restaurant. This is a lovely cosy restaurant with excellent fresh seasonal fish on offer. The royal lamb tagine is excellent and monkfish too. The chocolate fondant pudding is tasty too. Service was warm and friendly and the wait...not too long.More

Hi, I am not sure of opening hours, but the three of us just walked up without a reservation. It is quite small, but informal restaurant and I don't think that people linger for hours over a large meal. Good seafood!
