I liked the dining room, the menu, the service, the drinks list (which is very reasonably priced) and the atmosphere. It's a little Oasis of calm in the middle of the Medina for when you want something nice and simple.

After a long week eating tajines and moroccan food, we arrives to this little cozy restaurant. Pasta was fantastic and the woman running the restaurant was so friendy. Highly recomended!

We loved the decoration of this restaurant, and the food didn't let it down! it was a very nice quiet haven from the buzz of the medina.

What a delightful and charming little restaurant. Atmospheric, character full and friendly. All in all a superb dining experience. I really cannot recommend Dar Baba highly enough.
The home made gnocchi made me travel back to Italy with a bite! Nice atmosphere and competitive pricing! Delizioso! Un must per chi ha voglia di un piatto italiano in Essaouria.

We wanted to change from moroccan food, so we found this Italian for hazard. The place is very typical, showing a nice and cosy fusion of moroccan/Italian decoration. We instantly felt in an Italian home. The food is really good reminding real homemade Italian. Unfortunately...More
