This place could be so much better if they only seasoned their food a little more. We were in the middle of a very nice meal -great traditional atmosphere, attentive service, delicious olives and bread starter, good harira soup...then came my vegetarian couscous. I am sorry to say it was the worst I ever had. The vegetables were overcooked, the... More

We stumbled across this restaurant when browsing the sellers in Essaouira. It's a bit off the beaten track not on a main Street but it's a lovely traditional Morroccan style place with low tables and cushioned seats . Great food and friendly service and very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended!

Relaxed authentic atmosphere. The menu is good value. You sit down on cushion, not hyper confortable if you are tall, you don't really know to put your knees, but it's all about authenticity :) Throughout the meal, a cat can come around your table. The mama is cooking nearly in the room, it looks like a family business

I discovered this restaurant wandering through the Medina - it should, without a doubt, be rated as one of the best in the area. The food is incredible. It is authentic and fresh. The service, provided by Drisse, was exemplary. The atmosphere is great - welcoming for family groups and a peaceful place to spend an evening reading! I returned... More

The food it self was not orrible but the problem is that the fish was not fresh and most important all the dishes are cooked in the miscrowave.. so cheap but the quality is really low..

The best value local food dinner we had in Essaouira! It takes a bit of time to get your food BUT they have free WIFI.

A sober but slow restaurant. Service is ok, but not fast. We waited more than 45 minutes for our meal. The setting is nice and the quality of food ok. The location is very good and close to Nice plaza.

If you are looking for decent place to eat for reasonable rate then this is the place to visit in Essaouria, try out the HOW Spaghetti from the menu for ( my two boys loved it ) for me it was fish tagine all the way, very helpful accommodating restaurant stuff, well recommend.

Not bad, quite cheap, very standard touristic fare served with a smile, but NO alcohol beer or wine. Too bad considering the large choice of other restaurants within the city. Avoid if you like your meal with a good local wine (Morocco has plenty)
