More than 30 years in business, I would said the service and food was maintaining. Renovated several times, and still one of my favorite restaurant. It might not be the best western restaurant around town, no doubt their wine list was not very good as well, definitely not the most value for money place as well... But it was the... More

Against my better judgment, decided to try out The Ship @ PJ Centrestage. From my previous review, you'd know that The Ship BB is my gold standard for garlic steak. The Ship @ PJ centrestage looks more contemporary but for the wooden and red chairs which are so 70s. The garlic steak looked disappointing; the gravy was pale (as if... More

Average quality food with good servings. The garlic bread is still the best, the steaks are just ok.

The Ship at Damansara Utama (now near Starling Mall) has been there since 1984/85. Back then it was 'the' steak place to be. If you got to come here back in the 1980s when you were kid, it felt like you were classy, rich, stylish. Of course that was then. Back then up to the late 1980s and perhaps early... More

We went to The Ship at Centrestage, PJ. We ordered 2 sets dinner. The Jumbo seafood and steak. From starter with soup, prawn cocktails, main course and dessert. Everything is excellent. They really genuine with the ingredients in the foods. The side dishes, they stir the vege with butter, make the vege taste great, do not taste plain and raw.... More

As usual, an enjoyable place. It has been a couple of years since we have dined at The Ship - expectedly, prices rocketed quite a bit. A slice of garlic bread is now RM4.20. But the quality is good. We enjoyed the escargots, they were generous with the sauce. Portions were big. Prawns fresh. Too full for dessert. Staff not... More

I made a reservation via phone call on Aug 17, 2016 for a dinner on Aug 18, 2016. The way they took my call was so generous & polite. I should be there at 8pm as reserved but instead i reached there after 40 minutes becoz of heavy traffic.., yet we still managed to get a table. The food was... More

First time trying this place during lunch time. Happy that the restaurant is not full of customers. As people has commented the same, waiters cannot handle and maintain quality of service and food if too many customers. Food price has gone up quite alot. Quality of food still okey. We love their china town sharkfin soup with crabmeat alot. Happy... More
