Went shopping at the digital Mall in Jalan Semangat area of KL and came upon this Japanese restaurant by accident. On entering I was warmly welcomed and guided to my table by one of the waiting staff. While one of the waiters explained the menu another fetched us some steaming hot Japanese tea. I'm relatively new to Japanese food so... More

I love Japanese food. I could eat it every day. For that reason I chose Japanese to celebrate my birthday this year and thought Nagomi would be a good choice as I have eaten there before and enjoyed the food. The food is still good - but wow is the service bad. I had to ask for water three times... More

The choices of food are really so so...As i saw in many blogs, so many things are missing like half slipper lobster, pomfret, tofu shooters, fried softshell crab and so on.. The selection of dishes that they have is pretty decent and comparatively, their sashimi cuts are pretty good too. I love the salmon and salmon belly combo. One of the bosses was the owner of Kin Shui Tei of Tropicana. Kin Shui Tei used to be my to go place - it had the best selection and quality of Japanese... More

I went to this place with a friends since I heard some of reviews about it. Was also craving for shabu shabu. The choices were just so so, more like your everyday steamboat ingredients. I don't understand why they serve lamb cubes instead of lamb slices. Anyway, the quality of the meat was just so so. The only thing I... More

The place I always go to, to satisfy my shabu shabu cravings. There are many other so called shabu shabu resstaurants around town but I have found that most of them didn't even serve the authentic soup base (dashi). And many have even resorted to serve local sides to be cooked in the soup. I like my food authentic and... More

Food was ok but when we saw a cockroach crawling on the table we lost our appetite! The staff offered complimentary dessert (mochi) but we would expect not to he charged at all for the meal.

Service was a bit slow but good steamboat and ok salmon sashimi. They offered three different types of soups and I opted for Nogomi Soup as the base. Had it with side veg and ribeye slices. :)
