I have been here more than once but standard of food quite depending on chef preparing them. This is due to the different standards I had for different occasions.

we tried different plates. If the decoration is well done, the food is average. You can pay the same thing in Singapore for better food. Service is efficient.

Been here a couple of times everytime I'm in Johore. The place is typically not crowded and the kitchen would greet you from their spots. My favourite to order would be the Shiro Maguro, Tako Sashimi and Pirikara Asari. Their chawanmushi is not bad as well.

Kinashi serves great decent casual cuisine in a nice restuarant environment. Cheap food meals are all <$10SGD.

I literally asked the waiter 5 times to check on my meal and where it was. Pressing the call button was useless as no waiter even bothered to come. Had to walk all the way to the kitchen window to check on my meal and as that was the place most of the staff was, I told them that I... More

Food quality and presentation is good. However, staff seem forever busy and frustrated. This is at 3pm+ and not even supposed to be peak meal time.

My go to restaurant when im here for business, relatively cheap if u know what to get. I always opt for the karaage (fried chicken) bento set. One of the little things that really impress is how they also serve sliced pears and baby octopus (chuka lidako). Now the baby octopus normally cost rm10 for a tiny entree serving back... More

Kinsahi is a gem of a restaurant that provides quality Japanese cuisine and very pocket friendly. Very nice ambience and especially love the "misty river" that let's you feel you are dining among the clouds. We over ordered a little for 2 pax which we can't help due to the attractive pricing and wolf down a delicious feast.

There are a few Kinsahi restaurants in Johor Bahru and they serve rather expensive but serves average Japanese fare. Last month, we went there for lunch and sashimi (salmon & tuna) which was actually good & fresh. The sukiyaki was mediocre, I could find better ones elsewhere. The grilled squid was a bit too hard, the teriyaki salmon head was... More
