It may be the only Ethiopian Restaurant in Blantyre. I went in on a Friday for lunch. It's a bit pricey between 4500-5000 kwacha so maybe $8-10 USD. I had the lentils. They brought them out to me very quickly. The injera was pretty standard, maybe a little bit softerr than I am used to. I think if I went... More

A very good choice for food in Blantyre. A dry establishment. Typical Ethiopian choices and very good injera.

Dropped by for lunch and ordered a rather pricey dish. It looked very good and was a unique experience of Ethiopia. Sadly I did not enjoy the food too much. But if you like Ethiopian food and a bit of money left its your best bet in Blantyre for Ethiopian food.

We really liked tis resurant although you do get non Etheopian food thats the main reason for coming, the food was really good with decent service and great coffee (no alcohol), if you like Etheopian food or just want to try it this is a good place to start

Great food but the staff are a bit careless. If you are seated on the veranda (to watch the street) you need to bounce back and forth to get things done. Inside, simple and nice

Ate here a few months back while in Blantyre. It was my first time eating Ethiopian food and it did not disappoint. It was a great change from the regular meals we had been having in Malawi and the service was great.

Authentic Ethiopian food in Malawi, perfect for when you are bored with the other options. the place seems to have been there for years and years and is rather dusty and tired, so may loose passing trade because it often appears shut! in fact the door was locked when we arrived, but wait a minute as the owner will appear!... This was a horrible experience!!!!! When we were there, we thought the food was overpriced for the quality but OK. HOWEVER, two hours later, my husband and I both started feeling sick- and then we vomitted and felt like death for about the next 12 hours. UGH! We both ordered different things, and we might have sampled each other's foods-... More

My friend and I stumbled onto this place while looking for lunch in Blantyre. Although the menu was somewhat limited in terms of selection the food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Ethiopian, was really good. They also served typical Malawian dishes (chicken, nsima, beef, rice, etc.) but I can't vouch for those. The owner waited on us and cooked the food... More
