We tried here as we fancied something a little different to the usual Japanese food as we’d had that every day on our trip and we were delighted we did. This is a family restaurant where the Chef has been classically trained at the The...Savoy in London. His Wife looks after front of house and his Son also works in the kitchen. The food is lovingly prepared and the results are great. They do a set (fish or meat) and this comes with soup, salad and a dessert. Everything was really tasty and the lemon creme brûlée was delicious. They serve French table wine by the glass and have a few options by the bottle. Everyone is very friendly and the dining area has a collection of various different nic-nacs which gives it a homely feel which matches the homely style of cooking. Hugely recommend going here for the warmth of the hosts and the tasty food.More

Small quaint corner house cafe with Japanese Western cuisine. The bungo beef steak was tender and succulent. Comes with a basket of warm fresh bun and slices of French loaf. Umo rice is fried beef rice wrapped in an omelet and this was hearty dish....Hamburger steak was very good too. Service was friendly, warm and helpful.More

Try to find this small restaurant. You will be surprised by the quality of the food they serving. Although the card isn't in English, ask for the burger and men the menu set. They will try to explain everything and you will get a lovely...wagyu beef with rice or bread. Also the soup was very nice. Although I didn't was sure about the ingredients, it was good! Just something hidden for foreigners, but worth looking for!More
