Good food and bar service. Only issue I have with this place is the prices are just too high for what you get otherwise I'd recommend them more.

I grew up getting food from this restaurant. My Grandfather loved it, and I believe grew up with them, and I still love it. These are the best places to come to. They give you a feel of the hardworking families of Amsterdam. Whether you are getting the meatballs, which I suggest, or their giant roast beef sandwich on homemade... More

Found this quirky restaurant by chance on a three day trip to Amsterdam and returned twice to eat in the evening. It is down a small side alley and is not very big but is always busy , a good sign. The welcome is warm even if the waiter wanted us to buy Italian wine instead of French. Family particularly... More

A few family members went to Russo's to get a dinner and have general discussion. The table had different height chairs and was the area was dimly lit. The pizza was burnt but the eggplant was cooked well. Overall it was just an average meal.

You have to get Russo's pizza and, of course, fries with gravy. If you live here, you've already been doing this monthly. If you're visiting, not that Amsterdam gets a lot of visitors unless you have family here, stop by. If you don't live here, you'll be surprised by the hit-or-miss service. Depending on your server, you might get lots... More

I love Russo's homemade bread and sandwiches. This unique little restaurant always seems stuck in the past with its old booths and round tables but the food is fresh, made to order, and good. They had a flood a few years ago and received no federal aid in having to do a total redo. I respect their work ethic. Their... More

I first "discovered" Russo's in the 70's, when I was a young truck mechanic. It was the only place in the area where you could get good food after midnight (which is when I got out of work). 40 years later, the beer is still cold and the sandwiches are just as good. Didn't realize they had multiple locations these... More

If you have not eaten at any of the Russo Restaurants (Amsterdam, Ballston Spa or Broadalbin, NY) you are missing out. First the pizza is made with a wonderful crust and sauce. Bread served is made fresh at the restaurant. We have had practically everything on their menu and all of the restaurants have the same menu. From the Russo... More

The services was the worsted. Everyone kept bumping into me. Very dirty place. It took forever to get the food. The food wasn't worth me taking it home. It wasn't worth the money I spend
