From the moment we walked in, we were made very welcomed. There's English menu and the chefs in the centre can speak a bit of English and they are comical. They will make anything you want if it's not on the belt. We had 10 different colored plates plus a long plate of 11 piece sushi. Free ginger, free green... More

Lunch at one of he many restaurants at Kanazawa Station so more of a snack than a full meal - this time a well filled delicious panini washed down with local beer. Very tasty!

This restrant is nearby Kanazawa station. You can eat very tasty and fresh sushi easily.Waiter and waitress can understand English. So,if you forget to eat shushi or feel hurry to eat sushi, you should eat sushi here! とても美味しかったです。駅ナカで回転が早いので、夕飯時でもあまり待ちませんでした。1皿に1貫ずつ3種類のっているお皿があったのが、1人旅には嬉しかったです^_^

For sure Kanazawa is the best place to eat fresh sushi, and this restaurant proves it. With a huge range of flavours, it's quite affordable. Recommended!

Friendly place, one or two of the staff speak a bit English and there is a menu in English. Everything treated delicious and it is a great experience. Colour of the plate determines the price. You get macha tea and miso soup for free with your meal.

I ate a sushi menu (gourmet set) consist of ten pieces of nigiri, which was prepared just in front of you. Very tasty and fresh. Alternatively, they also offer a nigiri set of local fish. It is very convenient for travellers who have lilmited time for lunch/dinner.

Very busy on Sunday evening, we waited about 50 minutes while shopping nearby. Conveyor belt, but three sushi chefs, including an English-speaking one and an elderly Japanese, who seemed to know their craft, kept it fresh. Tried a variety of nigiri: salmon (very good, buttery), regular tuna (OK, not much flavour), medium-fat tuna (good flavour, slightly stringy), horse mackerel or... More

Enter the station from the north entrance, and immediately take the escalator on your right to the 2nd floor. It smelled a bit fishy, but the sushi was quite good. We were the only western people in there.

Kanazawa is known for its high level of Sushi. It's said that the sushi shops in Kanazawa which have belt conveyor can compete with the ones in Tokyo which don't have conveyor and tend to be expensive. Because the great fishing ground locate just so close, they can make sushi with truly fresh fish meat. Sushi-tama locate in the 2nd... More
