Took my friend and I over 40 minutes to get our 2 orders while there was only 1 other table seated in the entire restaurant. This family (the other table) was getting food delivered to them constantly while the waiter would say "5 minutes"... it was 20 minutes after that call. Food wasn't even good and everything is more expensive... More

My wife and I are currently enjoying our eleventh holiday in Vietnam and we always enjoy many visits to the Hon beachside restaurant, which is just across the road from Sea Sun Homestay, our favourite place to stay. For some time now Cua Dai Beach has been devastated by typhoon related erosion, many of the resorts, hotels and restaurants having... More

Best Calamari muc nuong (grilled squid with garlic, ginger and lemon grass) and ngheu hap (clams with ginger, lemongrass, and fresh mint) are both unbelievably good.

You should not be influenced by the first impression, because the ambience is not really appealing. We were greeted super friendly and all the staff took great care of us all evening. We had the red snapper and two crabs as well as mixed vegetables. The food was fresher than fresh and it was dealt with individual wishes. Simply super... More

It was a windy day when we cycled Cua Dai Beach, but we found some shelter amongst the tables here over looking the beach and had a fantastic lunch. We were the only people in the place, but the staff could not be more helpful and the food was fantastic, starting of course with a tiger beer overlooking the islands.... More

Ordered a coconut water and they placed a ladder against the nearest tree and cut one down for me. Pretty neat trick. The view is amazing, the food very fresh and staff friendly. The pictures on the menu usually don't look like what you get. The locals walking the beach trying to sell trinkets to the tourist is pretty annoying... More

Caught a taxi To Hon hoping to have an afternoon swim followed by dinner. Unfortunately there was too much beach erosion and we couldn't swim so we walked north about a kilometre to swim and then it was too far to come back for dinner...

Was nice to have fresh cooked food. Great people, very friendly and the crispy calamari was the best.
