We had 8 hours to experience Turkey during a recent cruise which stopped at Kusadasi, and asked that our tour included a visit to a typical village for lunch (most tours went to buffet places that could deal with large groups). There couldn't be a better place than Kirazli to do this. We tried a huge variety of different dishes... More

Our second visit to this lovely restaurant. We went on a Sunday and again had the breakfast. Fresh, and delicious. We ordered for 4 people (3 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 13). We had an extra bread. Fully stuffed. If you are in Kusadasi. Go. Its not to be missed. You will not be disapointed.

We came for dinner, rather late in the evening returning from an inland trip to Milet. We had great food in a relaxed atmosphere. Food is typical Turkish, not haute cuisine but still high quality. The food is very affordable. Service was excellent, but at this time there weren't many customers.

We went to Koy Sofrasi for a late breakfast during our day in port. We first negotiated a taxi to this village and paid about $35 or about 100 Turkish Lira for the taxi to drive us there, wait an hour or so as we ate, and drive us back to downtown Kusadasi. It took a few minutes negotiate a... More

This place is a restaurant, run by a family of really nice people. The place has a wide open garden, covered benches and tables, and of course an inner saloon for winter. We live very close, and we have frequently visited this place both for lunch and breakfast. The breakfast that's served is excellent and delicious. The variety of the... More

This is obviously a very popular place with the locals. We got here about 10.30 and the place was heaving. We've been here many times before and given enthusiastic reviews but I'm afraid standards are slipping. Both the quality and the quantity of the breakfast dishes seem to have fallen. We had to wait for our order to be taken,... More

At Maggie's suggestions (The Muses Hotel Kirazli) we walked along the village road to this lovely local restaurant. The food is fresh; idyllic setting; plenty of mezes and yummy meat dishes. Lots of local cats to keep you entertained.

The owner speaks English, explained the starters and entrees which is choice of beef, lamb or chicken stir-fried with peppers. Fantastic bread and house-made red wine. Lots of tables or low couches. Live animals, including free-roaming cats. Rustic, clean, delicious food, it was an experience.

We had a wonderful breakfast in this idyllic place. The setting is fantastic and worth the trip from Kusadasi (Dolmus straight there).
