If you're looking for a full English breakfast this place will do. 20 TL (4.30 TL to a pound when I was there) not including a cup of tea (a quid). The bacon tastes a bit like they've waxed the car with it but the rest is ok. British owned. Footie on the telly.
Sitting on the terrace in bright sunshine watching the locals prepare for another season. Cheltenham races n a hour or so provided by management. What more can you ask? Any sporting event they'll try to get on the big screen. Nice dinner later in preparation with a great red wine. They make everything seem so seamless here. Why go elsewhere... More
great restaurant very clean , very couteous , good selection of food but unaware of coeliac/gluten free food, Would eat here again though but wud only be able to eat basic foods that i kno havent had anything added to them such as steak jacket potatoes n salad,,just dont wanna eat that every day of my holidays
Nice staff ! But very expensive £2-50 for cup of Tea, Cheese toastie was about 3inch square with a bit of cheese and slice of tomato on each one (total 2 slices) that cost About £7-50 (30tl) beer was £2-50 a bottle ! but that was about norm all over Side,
Visited the Red lion once and could not wait to leave.Found the service terrible and the food even worse, my fresh fish was i suspect a carpet remnant soaked in used engine oil. Keep well away
We also only visited once, the food was excellent we both had steak diane or there equivalent of, steak perfectly cooked & tasty and local cats enjoyed a tit bit or 2, plenty of food but overpriced including beers etc, quick service and lovely staff
Ordered the chicken skewers which were really dry, even one of the cats sat near us turned it's nose up at a piece lol! Service was ok and the staff were quite friendly, wouldn't return though.
This was my childrens choice each time because it was the only place they enjoyed the food. The service is very quick. It is clean and reasonably priced.
