Phoned to check whether it was still open during the coronavirus crisis and not only booked a table but they sent a taxi to pick us up for free. We was met near Apollos temple and escorted to the restaurant. We had a cocktail to start and ordered tiger prawns for starter followed by chateaubriand, both where perfectly cooked. We chose a bottle of merlot to go with it and the cost of the meal was very good for a harbour front restaurant. The resident band came on at 9-30 and it had filled up by then. They played mainly soft rock English and Turkish music with was very professional and enjoyable. We was offered a lift back to our hotel but decided we walk along the promenade about 25 minutes walk. It was a brilliant night out and would definitely go back. Thank you to all the staff at the old town pub.

So glad we got called in when walking passed. We had the steak with gorgonzola and peppercorn sauce and wow out came a fillet steak, it was amazing, cooked to perfection! so good we came back a few days later for our last meal before going home. The waiter remembered exactly what we had last time and even got the chef to cook a pancake for our 6 year old. All the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Great live music too.

Great staff with food that is just as good. Got picked up from our hotel (about a 20 min drive away) for free, to get to our reservation that evening.
We had the prawns, mushrooms and garlic bread for starters which were DELISH (we shared all three between two of us). These would be great for tapas for the table with multiple dishes ordered.
We then both had a burger for our main which was HUGE, great value and made with very fresh ingredients.
Lovely cocktails, quick service and a great band which play live rock songs every night. Highly recommend.

Side is a beautiful place and The Old Town is fab. Great service, food was delicious but we felt we were ripped off with the prawns. Check the price before you order and the size of the prawns you have ordered! We had 10 prawns which cost the equivalent of £32.00!! And we’re apparently jumbo!!’. Check before you buy.

Clearly overrated. Staff good and the location great but the food and alcohol…
Fried prawns as starter way to salty and hardly any garlic at all. Potato skins soft and not crispy. Kobe steak properly done but almost cool, served with (as I noticed) a standard setup of sauces that in no way at all has anything to do with the steak (two sweet/sour sauces and one bowl with mustard (!)). Fries cold and not crispy at all.
On top of that fake Cointreau (tasted like sweetened vodka with some fanta orange and served in a wide ordinary drinking glass and a lot of icecubes in it). Turkish coffer good though.
On top of that high prices compared to other restaurants in Side.
The kitchen clearly lacks engagement and touch and I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone I feel empathy for. Sorry to say that but Side is full if restaurants with top food; lower prices and compassion for cooking and compositions on the plate. Add that this is the first establishment I’ve visited in Side that serves fake liquor at high price.

Wow! Having the head chef cook a fillet of steak for a family at your table is something you wouldn’t get at this price! 2 adults and 1 teen loads of fillet steak plus trimmings. Childs chicken nuggets and chips, 2 rounds of cocktails all for £113 GBP. Plus collection from the hotel for free! Best steak we have ever had! All of us! Thanks Dino and team! Don't waste time going anywhere else!

After visiting Turkey for the 1st time as a couple we were excited to come and see the sights of Side! Looking at the restaurants on Side Harbour there were a lot to choose from, however Old Town Pub caught our eye and the menue tickled our fancy. We weren't disappointed! We were greeted by the manager on the walkway who took us through the menu and then our waiter MEHMET took very good care of us throughout our experience. The food, the service and experience were absolutely 1st class. Not to mention the live band who were absolutely class!! I loved every minute of this visit and would happily come back again and again. We came on an evening so the view of the harbour was limited but looking at their photos, looks incredible. Can't recommend this place enough.

Wow you can’t go wrong the service 100%. This place was recommended and it didn’t disappoint.
Firstly I contacted via Facebook which took me to WhatsApp message to book a table, then reply yes table booked and a car will be outside your hotel to pick you up free.
On the day car was outside 6pm which took us to old town side the driver said wait in car as someone will collect you. Two mins later a guy turns up please follow me walks up to the train as we going on the train to centre which he paid for 7 of us. After we get off train followed him past all the shops to the harbour and into ‘old town steak house’
The welcome we got was fantastic took us straight to the table, Our waiter for the night was ‘Ali’ he was a great hit with my little lad which made him head of table 😄
Ordered drinks cocktails for adults, in fancy glasses which got a good laugh
Main meals
Steak WOW cooked to perfection presentation 100% taste 100%
Sushi again WOW presentation 100%
After meal they brought us fresh fruit and dry ice which was great
Ali was a great laugh
Highly recommended this place it’s a must go

Quite possibly the best filet steak meal I’ve ever eaten.
The place is situated in Side Old town harbour with outdoor heaters and and very inviting ambiance. We were already enjoying great meals in our hotel but we couldn’t resist the menu here and what a fabulous meal we had.
Steaks cooked to perfection well seasoned and accompanied with delicious sauces of mushroom for me and pepper sauce for my friend and perfect chips and veggies including asparagus.
All the menu was appealing but the steaks were a great choice.
The chef we believe worked on one of the cruise lines and the front of house staff were super friendly and informative about the menu.
And - we got a ride back to the hotel.
A must visit if you are staying in Side.

Met our friends for a steak meal last Thursday. We all shared sushi for starters and then we had a steak which I must say was perfectly cooked and served with asparagus and chips. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend highly. The music next-door at Liman bar was excessively loud but did not spoil our evening. Thank you Ali who chased us up the street with my husbands glasses which he left on the table. And thank you for picking us up at our hotel.

We had been on an all inclusive holiday but wanted to get out into the town for 1 night, I had visited Sidé before so I knew that the Old Town was a good vibe in the evening!
We were trying to choose from one of the many restaurants and chose to go to the Old Town Steakhouse and wow. What a brilliant decision.
We ordered the starters; crispy potato skins and garlic bread, which were really not very good… however for the main course we ordered the Chateaubriand which served two and came out very raw and they cooked it on a hot plate at the table for you with brandy and wine.
This was phenomenal and the best steak I’ve eaten. In my opinion it surpasses Gaucho.
The whole atmosphere of the BUSY restaurant, the location on the harbour front and the “show” of the food was just incredible.
So much so, we made an unplanned return later in the week and was served by Ali who was a great waiter and very attentive. My glass was never empty for long and even came out with a lovely free platter of fruit.
The waiter that served us earlier in the week remembered us and welcomed us in well too (I’m sorry, I can’t remember his name, but he was bald!) 😅.
All in all, it’s a MUST visit when going to the Old Town in Sidé and would definitely return on future trips.

We booked Old town steakhouse for a family meal, and wasn’t disappointed at all, everything was top class! We were picked up from our hotel then dropped off at the top of Side and then we got on a land train into the centre, passing all the historic ruins along the way then we were lead through the town over the glass floors with ruins underneath to The restaurant which is set on the harbour of Side the view was stunning watching the sun go down. Very efficient and good service from all staff, food was some of best steak I’ve eaten in a long time and all reasonably priced. I could quite easily eat every night there so could sample the whole menu.

I been to Old Town pub for dinner, it was so nice atmosphere there after delicious steak than dessert (cheesecake) continued with great bands soul music .
Thanks to guys there been serving happily and chef who visited our table even for asking if we were enjoying or not.
Definitely will be back.

Group of 10 dined so ordered quite a variety of food all of which was delicious...can personally recommend the mixed grill, chicken fajita and fresh prawns.
Staff were engaging and very helpful, offering great suggestions on the fresh seafood selection.
But the highlight of the visit were the amazing cats...great company :D
Excellent experience overall.

Best steak I’ve had I’m from the UK and it easily beats the halal steakhouses in the UK. Picked us up free from the hotel we were staying at and took us straight to the restaurant. Service was great looked after us all the way through Murad outside is very friendly and a top guy. Ali also many times gave us complimentary bread baskets and fruit. Shisha was also on the house. They are a 5 star rating for a reason. World class service and we paid approx 35 euro each for a steak with sides so the cost is very reasonable.
