The food was very good and the view from the 9th floor is amzaing. We had spaghetti carbonara and chicken breast. In the menu there are a lot of swiss dishes. The staff is very friendly.

I talk a lot about consistency on Tripadvisor, and having not been to the 9th floor for a year or so it was time for a revisit. I went in a large mixed group of girls and boys, and Thai and Brits. So, we basically between us covered a wide cross section of the very extensive menu they have at... More

Situated in a anonymous and very ugly building in Phuket, you'd never know when that scary little elevator opens you'd be walking into a paradise of fantastic food, great cocktails and lovely waitstaff. We arrived right at opening and were immediately shown to a table right by the open window with views of the sea and mountains beyond. The food... More

Went to 9th floor for a birthday treat, you need a special occasion to visit a restaurant like this on holiday. Once we found how to enter, address seems to send you to the wrong side of building, then got over the fact you were entering a run down (looking) building and using a sweaty lift, we made it to... This is a very nice place once you get in, but for top notch prices doesn't quite make the grade. Steaks - even rare should be seared and caramelised on the outside, not just warmed, although presentation was good. Open windows onto the city but they allow smoking in the restaurant, most of our meal infected by cigar smoking client,... More

Great steaks, lovely black uniforms and great service. You pay for what you get is the saying and the 9th is not cheap but pound for pound it is great value as the food and the steaks in particular are fantastic. Well worth a visit for a celebration or party.

Why to go there: amazing location on a rooftop with a great few - even in rain. The menu with a little swiss influence ( "roesti", "cheese fondue" ) gives you all. Moreover they have biweekly specials. The quality of the food is the best you can get in Patong. Try the lamb chops not something thin like leather but... More

The 9th floor is in a quaint building in Patong but don't let that exterior deceive you. The restaurant interior has far more to offer. The ambience is dark setting, offers great views and service. The staff are all immaculately attired in black in theme with everything else. There is a bar and a wine room. The food is fantastic... More

Excellent food and outstanding service. The first impression of the old building was not good but when the doors of the lift open to the top floor, you will be impressed. Great dining experience with outstanding cuisine, good choices of wines and professional waiters, thank you!

Located at the top of a strange building. It feels like you are lost, but the environment changes when you get out of the elevator on the 9th floor. Great western food, very good quality. Highly recommend the beef tartare. Great wine selection. Lovely ambience and views of Phuket. Service is unbelievably good, very attentive. Highly recommend for dinner.
