Exceptionally friendly family-run establishment. Does excellent staples such as rice and curry along with seafood dishes. Very few tourists currently yet the same service with a smile. Well worth a visit.

I loved the vibe of this place the moment I stepped into it. The decoration had a very marine, artisanal aesthetic and I loved the family-owned service and atmosphere. The ocean mural and contrasting paint colours made it such a lovely and fun lunch spot!...We ordered some the devilled prawn dish, a friend fish dish, seafood platter for one, and a vegetarian dish. All of it was very tasty, especially the prawns and crab. Just by the taste, we could tell the seafood was very fresh. I was delightfully surprised by the taste and soft texture of the devilled prawns - so, so good! The cool ginger beer on the side was so refreshing. If I ever have a chance to go a again, I would definitely try the grilled prawns - it seemed like one of the house's specialities but we chose not to order it on our first visit to avoid over ordering and to try something different. If you are curious by something on the menu or want something specific based on the menu's photos, I would recommend asking the waiter for some help to get the exact dish you want and avoid guessing. We ordered a fried fish dish, which was very tasty, but were specifically interested in trying the grilled whole fish and missed the mark by not clarifying. Highly recommend this place if you love seafood, are in Negombo, and want to support a local, family-owned restaurant.More

We ate here 2 nights during our recent visit to the Heritance and really enjoyed the food both times. We wish we could have found similar restaurants else where on our tour of Sri Lanka. Really tasty food and spiced to your liking, good size...portions and great service. The Banana and Pineapple Fritters for desert with ice cream and honey were also fab. Would definately visit next time we are in Negombo.More

Third visit this week, had a veg curry and a chicken curry and the fried fish tonight. So friendly - best in the area. 100% recommend I’m here for a couple more nights and definitely eating (and drinking) here.

Excellent, fresh seafood and fish. Everything we tried was super tasty. Good atmosphere, nice people working here. It was a good choice for one of the last dinner in Sri Lanka.

Four of us met at the Sea View for a post pandemic dinner and it was a very good and enjoyable occasion. Three of us ordered prawns in various forms and all were very good. We will definitely go there again given the opportunity.

The service is friendly and fast, but the taste of the food is no more than average. To little spices used. Mixed fruit juice was fresh an good, espresso was just ok.

Gorgeous food! Highly recommended! Sea food not overcooked, spicy as you wish. Soups just tasty! Big portions, quality and price balance.

Nice place with fast service and excelent tasty food “with a story”. We have enjoyd the food very much so that we have found reasons to come there repeatedly. Frankly we can the restaurant only recommend to anyone who likes a good food:-)

Really great local seafood restaurant. The staff are super friendly, the beer is lovely and cold and all at a good price.
