We were alone for breakfast here, pretty pricey tea 180 for a plain cup of black tea but the food is good and affordable. We had a special serving of homemade chutney which was delicious.

This is really a hidden gem! It doesn't look like, but you get wonderful meals there - the place looks like a tiny cafe, but don't get fooled. First of, the owner prepares meals himself, from scratches, yaaaay! So if you are rather a fast...More

It might have been the historic scenery we came for, but it will be Fazal and his cafe, we'll remember. I could hang out here forever, chatting and listening to his stories while sipping on yet another delicious cinnamon ice coffee. Go there. Just go.

The owner is a real character full of stories and provides and album of photos of the tragedy of the tsunami. Service a little all over the place but great tea and cake! And super cheap!

Perfect place to stop by for a delicious iced tea and lunch. Lovely terrace to watch the world go by, and we were joined by the charming owner who had lots of great stories about Galle's history. A great find.

Stumbled across this lovely restaurant and shop whilst wandering through the fort, and had delicious meals both times we ended up eating there. Unique decor and a welcoming host serve to create a friendly atmosphere, and I'd definitely recommend having a look round the shop...More
