Friendly neighborhood bar & restaurant less than five minute walk to or from the Times-Union Center in Albany, NY. So you only need to park one time. Good pub grub and drink selection. Good value place before or after hockey games or concerts.

Used to live near here and was a quick option of something to eat. Burgers were burned and dry. Apps over cooked. Low quality frozen junk poorly cooked.

Went there for lunch last Saturday after a jaunt to the NYSL. Wanted something close by. Went here with a friend. Cool place, nice atmosphere. I got the Chipotle burger...it was awesome!! I will definitely go there again. Service was good, too!

My husband and I had supper there before a reception at the Museum a block up the hill. The chopped salad I ordered even had artichokes and the french fries my husband had were not covered in salt or grease. Delicious meal. Draft beer was fresh and tasty. Don't be tricked, you have to walk through the bar first, but... More

Just went to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at the Times Union Center and hit this pub prior. Great inexpensive food and a nice list of craft and on -tap beers. The wait staff and bar tenders are super friendly and fun! We will be going there again!

Been there a few times since it is an easy walk from my office. They have great pub style food and great service. Wait staff is always fast and very friendly. The food is great and reasonably priced. One of our office's favorite lunch spots!

Great bar in a sketchy dive type area. Parking and walking to and from the Hill Street Cafe was interesting with the street people out. The area is about a block from the governor's mansion and is well patrolled and reasonably safe. We had really good beer and pizza there. For a local color, not a chain experience , we... More

We were looking for someplace to eat close to the New York State Museum, and the Hill Street Cafe semmed like th right place. Really a corner bar with a nice menu. My wife had the salad, and I had the honey mustard chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and in perfect lunch size portions.

Let me begin by saying, I love mozzarella sticks. As a connoisseur of this cuisine, I'm extremely particular 😁. This pub has some of the best, ever!! Plus the crowd is friendly and the bartender is nice. I've only been going a couple of months but am beginning to feel like "Norm". My beer greets me at the bar about... More
