Location is about all Chez Julien has going for it. It is perfectly set on a granite outcropping overlooking gorgeous Anse Soleil. In fact, one has to walk through the restaurant to access the beach. The portions were tiny, I cannot emphasize enough how tiny, especially given the Seychellois prices (one tiny breast of "chicken" curried cost 250SCR or about... More

Beach is beatiful but the owner of the tiny restaurant is extremely rude. In my country (Poland) he would never earn a dime. Dont go there if you dont want to ruin your vacation.

We've visited a few times which were pleasant. Well today we went for lunch. We drove down to the sparse parking and parked In a reasonable spot only to be told to get out of the parking immediately. OK fine. So we park elsewhere and enter the restaurant. We order, everything seems fine. A young Korean family enter the restaurant... More

The most unwelcoming, unfriendliest owner/staff on the planet! The owner has no idea how to treat customers. They will never see us again unless they change their attitude. What a pity as it is a beautiful spot.

Food was not good. Service was horrible, extremely rude and arrogant staff. It seemed that we were an inconvenience to them rather than clients. They were very unhelpful and made us feel uncomfortable. Huge contrast between service delivery quality and sea views, two extremes! Avoid it if you can, bring your own food and enjoy your picnic!

Cannot believe that food like this can be served at all!! The chef ( julien) is the most arrogant human alive, not to mention the most unhelpful human. Do not eat the vinegar there as it is pure acetic! This is so sad and the biggest letdown to our Seychelles experience.

Pop in to this cute little sea front restaurant, if you want to experience for yourself the 'Soup Nazi' episode from Seinfeld. The owners acted bizarrely, sending ten customers away while we ate there in a half empty restaurant, as they wanted to sit at a sea view table set for four, although there were in couples. This despite four... More

As it was raining at the time we arrived, we decided to sit at this small restaurant. We ordered red snapper stake, a tuna salad and a beer (not just a coffee or a juice). Food was expensive (450 rupees), small portions and was not the best that we had in Seychelles. After finishing our lunch I decided to go... More

A beautiful setting no doubt, the beach & ocean view are spectacular. Unfortunately if you want good service & good food it is not the place to visit. In fact it is an expensively bad meal, we ordered the mediocre curry and a warm drink.. poor Service is with a frown.. food is distinctly average and for the price, this... More
