It's had to say which is better, the food or the service or the view. We were only there for a late dessert and coffee, all of which exceeded our expectations! The service was superior, attentive and very personable. And the view, sitting alongside the fabled Sea of Galilee was spectacular! Wonderful!!

We happened to be in Tiberias after a full day of touring and asked a local to recommend a good fish restaurant. He immediately recommended Galei Gil which has been in business for over 50 years. Hands down it was the best fish we had on our trip to Israel. We tried the local St. Peter and Mullet from the... More

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the Galilee. The delicious food, along with the outstanding service, will make you want to return time and again. The selection of salads that accompany the entrees is amazing. Be sure to go hungry because you won't want to fill up on salads! I highly recommend any of the fish. They will grill... More

Very friendly staff. Our waiter have us great food recommendations... Many small salads to share, warm pita bread, then St. Peter fish on the grill and a mix of meats. Very tasty and highly recommended.

Eat St Peter's Fish right on the water. Very friendly, mature wait staff. Quick and reasonably priced. We ate three dinners there and were not disappointed with any of the meals.

Friendly manager/proprietor gives a nice welcome. There are tables on the edge of the promenade overlooking the Sea of Galillee which is lovely We ate grilled fish which was simple but good and enjoyed some local wine.

We had very good dinner here in the evening - just on the sunset time. Beautiful place on the Promenade on the lakeside. Gluten free meal is possible ( one needs to ask it herself). I ate an Israeli salad as starter ( no bread available as gluten free, so no bread for me). The size of salad was big,... More

We had dinner here on Saturday evening in Succoth week, so most other places were closed. Superb location on the Sea of Galilee with wonderful views to the dreamy hills on the far side. Enjoyed a nicely grilled St Peter's fish (although no denarii in its mouth), and tender grilled chicken. Nice accompaniments, and a good local wine list. Nothing... More
