This little place packed a big (and pleasant) punch! The variety of menu items were larger than we expected, and they all were very tasty. I recommend the fish, of course.

Not very impressed with Galei Gil. The food is mediocre and the so called fancy St Peter's fish is better known as Tilapia. The view is amazing - but what do you expect if you are on a A1 location? I am giving this restaurant...More

Picked the restaurant for its view of the lake and decently priced St. Peter's fish, but what absolutely killed the dining experience was really aggressive upselling of things I didn't order or want, followed by a surprise high gratuity/service charge. I would have tipped a...More

On the Old Promenade overlooking the Sea of Galilee, and the hills of Jordan, kick back and enjoying the sweeping landscape as yachts drift into view, and the sounds of families paddling waft up along the shore. And the food - traditional Middle Eastern grilled...More

This "seaside" restaurant is located on the "old promenade" in Tiberias where we dined in air-conditioned comfort on St. Peter's fish (a type of tilapia) with French fries, salads and Pita type bread. My wife also enjoyed a non-alcoholic chocolate-flavored beer (Nesher Malt) that she...More

I had some nice dinner there today after a quite exhausting walk under 38 degrees Celcius. I ordered a St Peter's fish with some roasted potatoes. I was also served a few nice entries with some pita bread. Nice personal, fast service.

Good location, directly at the lake shore, always busy with tourists, no locals. Mainly standard fish dishes, which are more or less ok-ish, you get like three potatoes and a half lemon with it, that's it. The usual tourist stuff. I would rate 3 stars...More

This is one of the nicest restaurants along the lakeside walkway, and therefore pretty popular. I'd suggest you book, to be on the safe side.

BTW, Tiberius is where Jesus preached and Peter and the boys fished. Nazareth not far away.
