Having eaten at Decks in the past, my family and I were looking forward to eating here again this year. Unfortunately we were left with a very bitter taste. My kids’ hamburgers arrived 30 minutes after our food did, despite us asking multiple times -...with a different excuse everytime leaving my 6 and 4 year old sons starving and upset. And when the burgers did come, they were basically still raw. My wife’s fish was dry and my steak was average. When we spoke to the manager, she just didn’t care and blamed everyone and anyone else without taking responsibility or even apologizing for the late and raw hamburgers. In the end we spent a fortune of money on a very below than average meal and experience. We will not be going back to Decks in a hurry.More

Came as a part of a very large group. Hummus, pita and salad was great. We were offered choice of fresh fish or chicken. Most and I picked the fish. Fresh whole talapia and fries were delivered family style. Awesome presentation. Great servers and host....Yummy chocolate dessert. After lunch manager showed us around. Great views!More

Great grilled sea bream and roasted sweet potato. Lovely fresh mushroom salad. Great view of the Kinneret/Gallilee. Attentive service with a smile. What more could we want? Lovely.

It seems Pagoda and Decks are one restaurant. The location is scenic - on the Lake. Taliya took excellent care of us ( it did help that she and my husband are Philadelphians!!! ) The meal was freshly prepared to our request I like my...meat well done and my husband prefers medium rare. The filet steak was tender, succulent and perfect. The Onion loaf was crispy and not oily, the French fries in herbs were a tasty accompaniment. All served on a iron hot plate. Service was good and all in all I would return.More

I would actually have given a 4+-almost excellent. The only thing slightly lacking was a good selection of deserts. We were there if off-season, so they combined Decks with the Pagoda. Which actually worked in our benefit, as we were able to order from either...menu, in the one location, which we did! We started with their house specialty-onion loaf, which was very oily and probably not all that healthy, but scrumptious. My wife and I then tried something from each menu, I had the Entrecote steak, medium-well, while my wife went for the chicken and cashew dish, we split between us an extra side of noodles. My steak was perfectly done and very tasty, while my wives, chicken dish was tasty as well and thank goodness not doused in sauce as is so often the case in Chinese restaurants. For dessert we had the fried banana with ice cream, which was so-so. We enjoyed a nice evening.More

The location of the restaurant is very strategic. And the highlight of this restaurant is St. Peter's fish. I'm not a fish person but I gave the fish a try and I wasn't disappointed.

Very good steak and fries. Also offers good service. Beer quite expensive but this is something normal in Israel.

Visited here with a 3 bus tour mid afternoon on a Thursday. As we entered a lady with wild, light colored hair, was working in the bakery area without a hair net. That would never have been allowed back home. Restaurant was quite busy, but...our large group was dealt with efficiently. Our female waitress (who later sang a song of appreciation for our visit) did quite well. The male associated with the bar got quite an attitude when I asked for ice for my wife’s water. I’m not really a fish person. As were many in our group, I was grossed out by head, eyes & tail still attached. Hence many of us elected chicken, which was fair at best. Fries were good. Flatberead was good, but I kept expecting to find that woman’s hair in it. The bathroom facilities were totally inadequate - par with a fast food place in SoCal. While the waterfront location was nice it wasn’t nice enough to overcome the aforementioned shortcomings.More
